“20/01/18. My friend and I went shopping in Oxford. Got very Warm welcome on entering Schuh store. I tried on a very different pair of boots. Store reserved them for me to make my mind up. Unfortunately due to panicking about parking running out....didn't go back to store. Later when I got home - I rang the store & I was told they'd put order on for another day & gave me customer services number so I could pay for goods. Schuh then arranged for my boots to be transferred to a local store near me. They've been keeping me undated by emails. Looking forward to collecting my boots & wearing them!!!! Great service from all at Schuh. Thanks.”

“Excellent service which started before the shop had even opened. I seemed to have been early for a Sunday opening and got talking to Joshua outside who was a member of staff waiting for the shop to open. He reassured me of the opening time and also had an excellent recommendation for a place to get a coffee. My visit for shoes was also very good. I wear orthotics so vary with shoe sizes and types but Joshua was very patient, helpful and even remembered which shoe size I preferred for different shoes. Thanks to the staff for really good service, I'm very pleased with my visit and purchases.”

“Short story of a good shoe shop.
This shop used to be in Cornmarket and was run but they same two-three employees, who served principally locals. With the advent of the Westgate, Clarks moved into the new, huge shopping mall, and changed drastically its stock and personality.
When I went in last year, I was horribly disappointed by the new stock and the inexperience of the staff, but I decided to give Clarks time, and wonders of wonders, things have changed.
This is what I learnt from my shopping experience today:
1. Staff is (finally) well trained and not scared at the sight of children who need to be measured; there is more staff in general, and yes, they are young, but I guarantee that none of them were on their phones or ignoring me when I went in
2. They have more children's stock than last year, and staff is good at measuring children
3. They have an idea when the new stock is coming in
4. They open on time
5. They have quite a lot of choice of comfortable + fashionable items, although limited for ladies (hence only 4 stars), which means I might have to the Reading or Witney branches for more 'provincial' items (we don't all wear sneakers!)”

“Went here yesterday to buy some smart clothes, a nice Lady helped me find something I liked and gave me good advice. (She said she usually works upstairs selling furniture, hopefully she can get some recognition). Good prices etc, very helpful.”

“I shop here about once a year and the staff are always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. My most recent visit was no different; there was a great selection of shoes, clothes, etc arranged neatly and organised, with clear labelling on what was on special. The product quality is top tier, and I have a number of items that have lasted more than five years. The lady at the till was friendly and professional, and when I asked what the return policy was she let me know that I can bring anything back and I'll get the full amount as credit to use in the store. Keep up the great work!”
