My Family of 4 tried to dine at Pizza Express Oxford at 5pm on Saturday 1st March. Despite the restaurant only being less than half full, with plenty of spare tables available, we were told that we could not be accommodated for up to an hour and a half, as they didn't have enough staff on duty! If you don't want to get angry, don't go. My wife and I had a terrible experience. The staff are rude and inattentive. Just because I raised my hand to ask for my bill, a staff member wanted to correct me and lecture me, saying that this is not acceptable in the UK. I will never go back.
