I bought some eggs from Summertown foodstore on 5 August - the date says Display until 22/7/25 and 'Best Before' 29/7/25.
Has M&S sunk so low you have to read the labels that closely?

Genuinely the nicest M&S I?ve ever been to. Despite living closer to another branch, I often find myself trekking 45 minutes just to browse here. The shelves are always impeccably organised and it?s just beautiful to look at. They also have fresh sandwiches, salads and smoothies as well as a sushi bar. Everything you want in an M&S! And because of the demographic shopping here, any viral products are never sold out (i.e. the pistachio creme). There?s also a lovely side bar to sit down at and have your lunch with a nice view of the street.

Continuously poor produce. Overly frustrating. Fresh fruit and veg never last and have recently had the misfortune of yet again buying fresh fruit which was literally fermenting in its packaging, its disqusting- better off shopping elsewhere. Quite frankly it is outrageous for M&S!!!!! SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!!!
