This concerns an employee at Halfords called Gus who stopped at Hinksey Hill roundabout to see if he could assist us to a safer place and to tell us fuel was leaking on the road. We wish to thank him for his concern and offer it was most kind. We did phone emergency services and fire engine and police arrived as did AA. It was a fuel pipe had popped off on the filter and car stopped suddenly. All fixed and thank you Halfords you have a good person working for you look after him!

Mark is open minded helpful manager, knowledgeable staff willing to help and advise. I could hear comprehensive price advisories over the counter and phone. Definitely I will come again and recommend to the others.

Had a failed headlight, ordered the bulbs on line, drove to botley Halfords,was seen straight away instructed where to park both bulbs were fitted by a great lad called tarrin,new exactly what he was doing, explained each step to me,very helpful very thorough indeed, definitely worth considering if you lose a headlight,great service, great staff

The mobile tyre fitter replaced the tyres quickly and seemed competent. However, when I drove the car in the evening, I discovered he had bent the brake disc guard, causing a terrible noise while driving. I had to fix it myself, so I?m giving 4 stars.

My wife had a new battery fitted at home on a Ford Galaxy by Halfords. Next MOT check found left headlamp unit was broken and had to be replaced (not cheap). Haynes manual on battery replacement advises removal of that headlamp unit. Draw your conclusion. Mine is that I won't be using Halfords again #falseeconomy

On 29/09/2024 I went for MOT, maintenance service and also battery change. On another service visit I saw that the battery was not changed or the old battery was installed. When I asked questions through the website, instead of a problem-solving attitude, about 20 minutes passed with repeated confirmation questions. A very very bad experience. Stay away from here

Very quick, good service and value for money, especially if you are a Halfords member. Went in for MOT and service on Saturday. The MOT failed but I knew it would anyway and they were able to do most of the work on the same day. I have to go back due to a part that had to be ordered in but they have booked me in straight away with a time that suits me that won't impact my working day. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be using them again in the future. Thank you
