Today we went to Decathlon Oxford to buy a bicycle for our little daughter. The salesperson, named Sam, who resembles actor Edward Norton, was excellent. He had good manners and did everything possible to satisfy our little girl's wishes. Congratulations, Decathlon.

The actual store is good (as it's Decathlon) but this one in particular is let down by the staff. Too many of them for starters. Average age of 18, standing about chatting and flirting. The store in Poole is professional in comparison, maybe because most of the staff are French

I?ve generally had great experiences at Decathlon Oxford and would like to highlight the exceptional service I?ve consistently received from Eddie in the cycles department. Despite being quite young, Eddie is incredibly knowledgeable about both products and mechanics. He?s always polite, enthusiastic, and willing to go the extra mile to help ? a real credit to the team.
However, during a recent visit, I witnessed a troubling incident involving one of the workshop technicians. The technician was shouting and swearing at Eddie in a very unprofessional manner, even snatching something out of his hands while Eddie calmly tried to explain the situation. It was an uncomfortable scene, and frankly, this kind of behaviour in any workplace is unacceptable.
While my overall experiences with the store ? particularly thanks to Eddie ? have been very positive, I?ve chosen to leave a 4-star rating. Eddie?s customer service deserves 5 stars without question, but the conduct of the workshop technician let the side down and needs to be addressed by management.

Recently visited to purchase a road bike, pedals and cleats. Talked to Eddie who was super helpful and got me sorted with everything I needed and even helped me pack the bike into my car. Great service and happy with the bike so far.
