A great way to make some money from old/unused tech and console games is to sell or exchange at CeX stores. You get more value for your items when exchanging for other items in the store. So if you need something and they have it, do an exchange. I exchanged a number of unwanted items for vouchers and got a PS5 Slim, boxed.They take out the hassle of advertising online.The only drawback with them is that they over inflate their prices on the items they are selling. In some cases, over the new RRP for secondhand stock. Other than this, a good place to get rid of your unwanted tech items and get something back for them.

Collected a used smart watch that my son in Malaysia had bought me for Xmas. Even though understandably I had to prove who I was, there was little fuss and all was sorted and the watch has Bern great.

If you genuinely need to return unused items beyond 48hrs, expect to get only 40% of the money you paid because it?s considered a selling back, not a return. It?s only possible to have a full refund due to faulty items. The items I bought just didn?t work with the machine I have and I returned within 2 weeks.The issue is this rule is not written on the receipt nor stated by the staff, but on the T&C online. It?s very misleading.I have no problem with the rule itself, but it?s it?s not ok to be misleading and profit from it. Print the rule in the receipt and put some signage on.I won?t be coming back again.

Stood waiting for about 30 mins in a que, with staff doing little to F all, with 4 members of staff behind the counter and only two working the tills!

I went to CEX today at Cowley centre as my lightening cable for my iPhone stopped working. I was helped by a wonderful guy who went over and over to help me get sorted with a charger. A massive thank you to him and he truly is a great member of your CEX team at Templar Square Oxford. It made my day!!

Great for getting rid of the games that you cannot sell anywhere else. If you have any decent games however they give you a price on the low end.

Drove almost an hour to this store as they had a few items that l wanted in stock. I turned up and saw the items in the window and l was happy that they were in good condition. I went to the counter to ask about another item and tbh...the staff member couldn't care less. She seemed fed up and not interested in helping me. The other guy on the shop floor was not much help neither. Because of this...l decided not to purchase the items l drove down for- almost £250 worth. Doubt l will be going back. Reading some of the other reviews about this store tell me that others have had similar experiences.Time and date of visit: 10am 6th Aug
