2nd time of going in and being very disappointed with unhelpful staff. Went in looking for kitchen worktop and asked for quote, advised that the prices were on the side of the display unit and felt like we had to work it out for ourselves. Not brilliantly customer service so wont be returning.

These guys are like family, you walk in and everyone is happy to see you and makes eye contact, not like other suppliers who avoid serving you at all costs.
They are always happy to help and without fail will have what you?re looking for if not they can source it.

Booked a little digger on Tuesday for the weekend, phoned them up today when we can pick it up or when it will be delivered, guess what their answer was that not a single one available, will have to cancel the job and apologise to the customer, shocking attitude.

My first visit today for simple lengths of treated timber for a diy project. Initial service from the office desk was trouble free. However, the staff member I met to help find my desired timber was simply lacking in the concept of customer service. When I stated the timber I was looking for the staff member bluntly stated the timber was not stocked. Not out of stock at present or at this particular branch, just not stocked. I explained that I had found the timber on the company?s website, hence making my journey. The staff member replied, ?I don?t look at the website?. I attempted to request the staff member assist me find the timber, but to the staff member replied, ?if you want to complain, go speak with the office staff?. I made no suggestion of wanting to complain and neither did my language suggest this.The service, or lack of, is quite shocking. I was treated as an inconvenience, without respect or the most basic courtesy towards a customer. No surprise I left without making a purchase. I found a competitor that understood how to treat customers.

I have used Buildbase Oxford a few times the past month, for equipment hire, buying sand, slate etc and the service every time has been fantastic. The staff in the store have been very helpful and the delivery drivers have been great. I would recommend anyone to use them and I will in the future.
