Staff member made a customer cry.
I was in the shop and a young woman was trying to pay. There had been a dispute about the student discount, in which the customer admitted she had been wrong but also pointed out the staff member had wrongly inputted the amount the first time. This concluded with shouting, whistling at the young woman when she started to cry and then when she tried to check to see if the transaction had been accidently put through twice was ignored and abuptly told to take her bag to the side. I tried to interject and tell the man behind the counter to treat people like human beings (which was completely ignored), and I ended up staying with the woman for a bit while she calmed down. This whole transaction was utterly unacceptable behaviour from the staff member, and I see there has been complaints about him previously - most definitely the same man. There was no reason to treat this clearly distressed customer with such cruel disregard. I am shocked by this behaviour and it has put me off going in there again, which is a real shame as I like to support the British Heart Foundation.

The bloke running the shop was rude and aggressive when we asked where the changeroom was - we ended up leaving without buying anything as we couldn?t try anything on and we didn?t feel very safe.

Get rid of singing idiot.I bought a jumper yesterday (19/03/23) and did not try it on in store due to the extremely loud environment created by an employee singing, yelling questions at customers and VERY loud music. It took ages to be served as he was just ignoring me and then began staring at me without processing the transaction which made me very uncomfortable. I was finally able to complete my purchase and tried it on outside of the store and it didn?t quite fit right. I then attempted to return it and he was so unbelievably rude and incompetent. Asking me what I meant by ?cropped?, staring at me as if I was the one being ridiculous here. He rummaged round the bins cursing loudly, not sure what he was trying to do then poked at the till machine for about 5 minutes, making me late to see a friend and eventually told me that I needed to come back some other time, (I think he meant to say at the end of the sentence ?when someone who actually knows what they?re doing can help you?)Customers- avoid this charity shop at all costs, horrible environment with rude and untrained employeesStaff- please either sack this man or have someone with him to control him at all times.Will never return, sadly,Ellie

Shop keeper on the till today 23rd October 2022 was EXTREMELY rude. I wanted to donate clothes and he shouted ?in the donation truck? to me. I?ve never been to the shop before, I didn?t know where it was... I?m trying to give to charity, only to be shouted at by staff? He was also blasting music out dancing and singing really loudly (very strange, I could see other customers looking uncomfortable) rather than paying attention to customers queuing to pay? Absolutely baffling how you are letting people like this run the store.

Nice thrift shop, I always find something here. But the changing room is closed still, which is quite annoying because you can't try on any pants. Interesting people who work here, one time a really loud guy singing to very loud music that I could tell scared customers away haha.

Shop keeper is rude, loud and unhelpful. Clothing rooms are out of order, what does that even mean? I tried changing behind the corner to try on trousers, and he started shouting through the shop that I was crazy. My two girlfriends couldn't try on dresses and he indicated it was sort of our problem that there were no changing rooms. He turns on music really loud and makes very weird noises. If he's there, you probably don't want to go here for a chill experience.
