The staff in this store are so intimidating I work for boots myself but constantly being followed round this store when your just browsing, even if your carrying a basket. People spend lots of money here the staff should be abit more welcoming instead of accusing everyone of shoplifting. One day they will do it to the wrong person!

Never in my life have I been told off for smelling shampoo, until I visited this Boots today late afternoon. I have sensitive skin, so I can?t just grab any shampoo; I need to know the scent before spending £9. My friend recommended me Aveeno as they do a whole range, so naturally, I wanted to smell before buying.
One female staff member told me I could ?read the smell description? instead. Because of course, I know what ?smoothing? or ?shining? smells like?
If smelling is forbidden, why aren?t the bottles taped shut? Ridiculous, unhelpful, and utterly joyless customer service. Avoid this store unless you enjoy being scolded for trying to shop sensibly.

1 star is being generous, 6 times today I?ve tried calling the store about my prescription, 6 times no answer, while I?m at work and I have been told to go to the store so have to race around, when a phone call can sort it. What?s the point in you having a phone or paying a for the phone if you can?t even answer it. When I have been in there it?s been quiet. So you are not busy 24/7 to not be able to answer a phone call. I?ve even been in there while it?s been quiet my mother has tried calling at the same time and they just stand there? Is it a competition to see who can answer the least calls?

Don?t ever come to this Boots! ?????I clearly said I wanted to use a student discount and even activated it in-store, but I still couldn?t use it. The staff firmly said there was nothing they could do after the payment was made.
But when I went to another Boots in Oxford and had the exact same issue, the staff there patiently helped me apply the discount. The difference in service is unbelievable!

Very rude pharmacy team. The pharmacist team member who was present at the customer facing desk refused to acknowledge my father for around 5 minutes and when he complained, the pharmacist went on to argue with my Father instead of apologising. It?s fair enough that he was busy at that moment, but acknowledging a customer firsthand should be a top priority. When my Father asked for the manager I thought this would be okay (I had been standing a distance when the incident was occurring so I don?t think they were aware that I had come in with him ) however after the conversation had happened my Father left the store and I stayed to make a purchase, and to my disbelief the pharmacist team AND the manager(s)? were openly laughing and gossiping about the situation right infront of other customers. Extremely unprofessional and upsetting to watch, and judging by other reviews posted this isn?t the first time such an incident has occurred either, so if I were you I?d stay clear of this pharmacy.

This boots has the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. Went to get my prescription which it says on the NHS app was ready to collect. They said there's no pharmacist so they can't hand me what the pharmacist has already prepared and is sat in a box behind them. I've had major surgery and need certain medications since then or I'll become very ill. One of the staff members was particularly rude and dismissive of me. I had to get the paper prescriptions and take them somewhere else but they hadn't released the prescriptions for me on the system. I've tried calling numerous times and they don't answer, even if you call for 30 minutes straight they won't answer. Im disgusted and very disappointed in the whole situation and without my prescriptions i'm getting very ill. I've contacted customer service and await a response. I will take this further.

Staff in shop is absolutely useless, I ring the shop 2x to make sure they have my father prescription is in stock so I can go in there to collected because this is the only boots pharmacy open until 8pm. She told me, yes we have stock in our shop. I went in the shop and they told me that they doesn't have his medication in the stock, they need to order it. Absolutely joke this pharmacy, no wonder lot of bad comments!!. #luckofmanagement

Called the main store number and then the pharmacy team repeatedly and over the course of two days. No answer ever. Impossible to talk with someone.
Not great if they're holding your anti pain medication and you can't get there due to said pain. Boots also makes it needlessly opaque with thr prescription delivery service. Paid for something and still can't get it or talk with someone that will help me.
Where's the pharmacy and/or manager of this store??

Went to the store a couple of days ago around 4.30 pm. To be fair there were not too many people . I stood by the tills by the perfume waiting to be served by somebody. But nobody was around it seemed like I was stood there for a good 7 mins when I saw a member of staff . I said excuse me is anybody serving to be snapped at with there reply I will be there in a minute. She then proceeded to go and chat to another colleague who was stacking shelves. I waited a few more minutes and another member of staff came and served me and was polite and efficient . I was just shocked at how rude the other girl was in her reply to me. And obviously had no intention to help or serve me. As leaving the store she was still laughing and chatting with her colleague 20 Minutes on after I placed an online order .

I came in earlier today looking for a perfume for my niece , Gemma was brilliant at helping me choose , she took her time letting me try different fragrances while offering her favourites , excellent customer service will be shopping here again

Sana was very helpful when I was shopping for a perfume at Boots. Even though it was close to closing time, she didn?t rush us and took the time to help us choose the right one. Great service!
