The staff at this store are really lovely, I have been to this shop on several occasions and I always have felt welcome.
I can?t commend specific staff as I do not know names, but I once saw a staff member helping out a customer by giving recommendations and problem solving around the customers needs.
I don?t usually write reviews like this but it is definitely worth saying!

I went in to get help for my infected piercing and this had been the 5th place i went to after the others were no help. I spoke to the pharmacist and got a consultation about what I should do and she was really attentive and even sent an email to my gp. I didnt catch her name but she was really sweet and so much help.

The amount of times I've walked up to boots in my lunchtime and they are closed is ridiculous. A big organisation like boots and they can't afford to staff it ! Very poor service from boots although the staff inside ( when there) are lovely

Quite scary what goes on here at the pharmacy. So disorganised, you have the store manager dispensing!! Hadn't got a clue and there's a guy in there that just should not even be behind the till. Didnt feel reassured, will be reporting .

Not advertised online or the front of the shop, but the shop closes for a whole hour for their lunch break between 13:30-14:30 (unsure why as they have multiple staff on shift to stagger their lunches) therefore now loitering around outside waiting for it to reopen. No sign posted on their shop front today and had to wait with other customers whilst a staff member informs us it?s their lunch.
Inconvenient for those on lunch break during work hours to go buy something from here, and unable to visit when I finish work as they?re closed.

Extremely slow pharmacy. Avoid at all costs. I have been here multiple times over a year and always the same. They don?t pick up the phone and always have a line of people waiting. I don?t understand how it can be so badly managed being next to a world class hospital.

Extremely slow. We are asked to wait until we receive a text to pick up our perceptions which takes two to three days from when they receive it. We are then expected to wait 30 minutes in the queue to get it. Always a great way to waste your time

The staff are kind and try to help but this place is pretty dysfunctional. It takes 2 days to get prescriptions filled. They close for an hour lunch break (which is when people like to get run errands!), and the pharmacy queues are ridiculously long. Something needs to change!!!

I had an urgent situation yesterday when I came to collect my prescription as a new client at the Headington store. Nica was incredibly kind and supportive, patiently guiding me over the phone. A few minutes later I popped at the store straight after work to pick up my meds. Despite the long queue, she and another guy working with her helped me get my meds the same day the presciption was sent by my doctor which I didn't expect. I could see how much busy it was and how hard all the team was working.Thank you so much both of you! :)

I had yet another very poor experience in the shop today, and won't bother going there anymore. I was hoping to purchase an item that was behind the counter next to the pharmacy part where you collect prescriptions. The item I needed wasn't on prescription, and there was a long queue waiting for prescriptions, so asked a member of staff at the front of the shop if I had to wait in the long queue. She said no, just ring the bell at the till near the rear of the store. I did this, and another member of staff told me I had to queue up. So I did. 15 minutes later the queue hadn't moved. Absolutely ridiculous. I don't know whether it's lack of staff, bad management or both but it needs to be sorted out. There's no reason why you should have to wait in the prescription queue just to buy an item behind the counter - this wasn't the case in the past. I went to the pharmacy next to hedena health in headington and took 30 seconds to buy the item.

queue of customers waiting to be served and they give priority to customers ringing shop. staff was on the phone for 10mins while the queue got longer and longer. luckily I got served before someone else rang up

Just about the worst service I have ever experienced. Spent a month trying to get prescriptions, trying almost every day. Phone is almost never answered. Staff say they have completed procedures and they haven't been done. Like getting blood out of a stone. Except these are medications. Urgency needed. Just disgraceful.
