Worst experience of my life in Oxford.
My partner bought our house groceries worth of £200 and the lady in the self check out ( this is not the first time it happened btw) was so so rude to me and my partner. I?m not sure if it has to do with her being racist towards people of colour because Iam one. We bought just one beer for my partner to have and she asked for id which he gave him ( he?s 32) but again she came back and insisted that she couldn?t sell one pack of beer if I don?t show my id. (She?s seen my id before on my previous visits). I don?t exactly see a reason why I (not the purchaser) should show my id? Makes no sense at all.
Aldi, I just saw that there are very negative reviews like this for this store. Please take action.

Very nice, clean and well stocked shop, the staff are very helpful, smiling and engaging with the customers. Good parking as well.

Why are half the self serve tills closed when there is a queue. Not a one off, frequently an experience for customers here, if anyone cares about them. Doesn?t happen in other supermarket brands. Genuinely would like to know the reason for the frequency of this annoying experience?
