Had the fish and chips. Got food poisoning. This can happen, but management was extremely unbothered by this.

This was a great place to eat. The service was amazing, shoutout to Amy for her accommodating, flexible and kind service. The food was good with a lot of options, the service was solid, it was a bit pricey but mostly worth it!

4th time bean here & today's visit was only time there was anyone else here. Maybe coz a hotel also here but did seam like we was left alone at times However our Waitress was good- answered our questions with a Smile. More a place for travelling salesmen or business dinner. Not for pasting trade . Half mile to M40 so great for London/ Oxford & Birmingham.Parking: Parking you have to sign in on main desk . There are Disabilities bays so take blue badge if got one.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide doors but didn't see any wheelchair's there.

I am here for another 4 nights, and so far my overall experience of my check in, bar service, restaurant service and the fact it's bloody cold in the restaurant, in the hall ways and MY ROOM, makes this a dismal stay. Not what I expected from a Mercure hotel.

Starter, duck and orange pate - smooth and full of flavour, amazingMain, sirloin steak - served perfectly cooked, the chunky chips were fantastic, crispy but soft, airy and fluffy on the inside.Pudding, - salted chocolate tart, I dont even need to describe it. Just have itStaff were very attentive and welcoming. Hats off to all, chefs and front of house made it a pleasurably evening for myself

We visited here as part of a company meeting after party. Beautifully decorated, staff are excellent and so helpful. They provided a bbq for the company and it was excellent.

Staff didn't know what was going onFood chicken was dry and definitely not a supreme dish. Prawn pasta was reheated in a microwave making the prawns unsafe to eat.Sharing dishes are better from a supermarket. At least there you can purchase a much better quality.Vegetables were either tinned or frozen and were rock solid making them impossible to eat.Would not eat here again and don't recommend trying either.Vegetarian options: LimitedDietary restrictions: Not asked about even though stated at booking. Had to work out for myself which is fine but when the food you order is not as it should be it leaves you wondering how safe your food is.

Brilliant staff lovely food ate at this place 2 nights both times we had a nice table brilliant service and great food also had a cocktail which was very nice would recommend this ace to eat at
