Lovely friendly village shop. ellielou has been unlucky with the coffee shop as I've greatly enjoyed cups of coffee and a cake there. Like her I make special detours every now and then just because it is such a nice place and I've managed to have a quiet coffee while the children have run around playing. I've not been recently but there also used to be a community computer for general use and a bookcase of secondhand books for sale.

This is a wonderful commuity run village store. Sometimes in the summer, I made the extra journey here 1. to support the locals and 2. the let the kids run wild in the play area for a while. The store doesn't have a huge variety of stock but you can get what you need even if you are limited on the brand. They also have a coffee shop however when I have been it has not been open.

Tackley Village shop and Post Office is a wonderful community run shop that stocks a whole range of locally sourced goods including fruits, vegetables, fresh breads and cheeses as well as wines, beers and all the household essentials. All the staff, most of which are volunteers, are all super friendly and welcoming. As it is attached to the Tackley Village Hall, the village's playing field and play area are right next door and there is a coffee shop too. A great service in a beautiful village.
