Our Sunday visit was very pleasant.
Nicely located restaurant, cozy place.
The young lady who served us was polite and helpful.
Pizzas were good.
Unfortunately they didn?t have the meat one and we had to take more time to choose something else.
The lady told me about the app that I didn?t have so I downloaded it and it turned out I have some free side dish and I collect stamps.

Our booking somehow didn't make it from online to the restaurant so we turned up at 5:15pm needing a table for 20. The manager organised for us to have part of the upstairs in no time at all. It turned out to be 23 in the end, mostly kids so rather chaotic. She dealt with us throughout and given the noise and chaos it was done well. Some of the adult pizzas were a bit overdone but all the kids loved theirs.
Top marks for handling what turned out to be, a walk-in for 23 people on a Friday evening.

We were a walk in. Greeted warmly, food came quickly and was great quality, and on Bogof Classics pizza offer which drew us in. Excellent service too.

Exactly the standard of food I would expect but the server today was exceptional. She was serving the whole and busy restaurant by herself whilst assisting staff in the kitchen. How she didn?t loose her cool I do not know! She was professional, friendly and efficient. She deserves a bonus!!

Just had excellent service from Rita who made sure everyone on the table was happy and who also made some extra pasta for my little one when he changed his mind about liking tomato sauce.

Calzone was luke warm, service was good and pleasant.
I should have asked them to heat it up but was Hank Marvin so chose not too. My choice however shouldn?t have needed to be put in that position.

Pizzas were good. Kids party upstairs was a bit noisy. Nice atmosphere though and good friendly service. 70 quid for two including wine & desserts

Pizza Express Henley on Thames.
One waitress working flat out so service slow. Not her fault. New chef managed to burn polenta chips and calamari. Some starters took a hour as did main dishes. Generally however it was a slow but enjoyable time. Just difficult when children want their food
Parking: Lots of disabled places all free
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access with disabled toilet off main restaurant

This is my local restaurant and have been only a couple of times this year , both times the wait for our food has been quite a while which one would expect a certain degree of wait when food is being made from scratch, when our starters came mine looked like it had been sat on the pass for a while as the sauce had that dry top and the arancini was also dry, my grandsons doughballs doughballs were also rather burnt and was served with butter not houmous as was stated didn't say anything as didn't want to wait again, or pizzas were nice though, bonus, even though the wait again for them was a long one. The lay waitress was lovely the male waiter was a bit abrupt in his manner and found this also when he was turning customers away as they had no tables free at that particular time.

Busy Saturday evening on Henley Royal Regatta weekend, the staff were running around but still friendly, attentive and pizzas were great as always at Pizza Express.
Nice setting and great great atmosphere when busy.

Visited during Henley week so very very busy. Service was friendly and quick and the dough balls great - hot and fluffy. The main issue was the pizza - very disappointing - undercooked, flat and soggy, like the oven was not hot enough. Think frozen mini pizza that has been cooked all too briefly at 160
