Really helpful people. Right in the middle of town so is very convenient but parking can be difficult.

It is really unacceptable that customers are forced to discuss very private financial matters in total public with personnel who are steadfastly positioned behind glass screens. This is not acceptable when dealing with the finances of an elderly relative, a power of attorney, a grant of probate etc and having to discuss in public the movement of large sums of money on their behalf (if it was my own money I'd go elsewhere). I have heard other people being asked to say out loud in the branch their names and addresses and date of birth, as part of conversations relating to accounts holding £100,000 or more, all while people are standing behind them in a queue - this is not secure either. Why can you not schedule meetings with customers by appointment (you don't offer any appointments) and in a private room?

Quite simply the worst Nationwide branch in England. Staff are so unhelpful and don't seem to know how to do their jobs. And to think this is the last bank in Henley on Thames... Should close this one as well.

The staff in the branch are always very friendly & helpful I opened up a new account in the branch & helped me on the iPad to fill in the application.

Really glad to be banking with nationwide and we?re so lucky to have Anna working there. She is always so much help and nothing is ever too much trouble. Especially during the pandemic, her knowledge and willingness to help have been more appreciated than ever. Never relocate her, always keep her here please!! :)

Really good branch with some great members of staff, have to mention Anna in particular though as she?s exceptional. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and fast, and brilliant customer service time after time, she?s always happy to go the extra mile to help her customers and everyone I know thinks the same. Thank you for being amazing!!

Always great service from Anna for not only myself but my elderly grandmother who uses the branch weekly. Anna always goes the extra and we very much appreciate all her help.

Very nice branch to go to,Anna always gives exceptional customer service, always goes the extra mile and is always incredibly helpful which is just what you need, especially in a bank/building society so full credit to Anna, I hope this is noted and forwarded on because she deserves credit for this and all other customers she helps

Friendly and helpful staff, nice little place not over powering like others banks in town glad I choose to move over to them.

Small bank but nice staff

Very small bank, with less services than the other banks in Henley. Plus they're open less.

A friendly local branch who seem to spend most of their time battling - on your behalf - with the faceless bureaucrats at head office. Whilst the queues may be long, the counter-service is very personal and extremely helpful. As alluded to above, the current climate of head office make all the decisions means that this can seem a somewhat soft-soap approach, but at least they make the effort and seem embarrassed that the company as a whole is so remote.

Super-friendly staff here in my experience and there have always been an adequate number of people serving. One of my pet hates is when you have only one person serving and a queue of about 20 waiting! Having said that, that was a good few months back and with the credit crunch they may well have cut back also!
