“Possibly the best proper pub in Henley. Unspoilt inside, well kept beer and popular with locals. Lovely beer garden for summer days and rated highly for Sunday lunch. Slightly tucked away from main street but well worth a visit.”

“This is a lovely, family-run pub with a terrific breakfast. We stayed in Cherry which was very comfy with separate access from the pub, tea-making things, piping hot water. We had a very nice chat with Dan over the Full English and smoked salmon with scrambled egg. Ditto with a one of couple of non-residents who came in for breakfast too. Stoke Row has a fascinating history with its ornate well and cherry orchard given by an Indian maharaja and the surrounding beech woods are fabulous, specially at this time of year. Many thanks, Dan and to your lively family. Hope the maths homework went down well!”
