Disappointing customer service and crazy over pricing. Do not recommend

I went to Helen and Douglas house shop today and I saw a nintendo entertainment system in the glass shelf. I really wanted to get it but they wanted 225 pounds for it. One of the employee said that it has been sat there for couple weeks none seemed interested because of the price. Really they should of priced it on how much they go for on Ebay. On Ebay and vinted they sell between 50-150. I'm really not happy with how expensive it is and how greedy they are.

A nice charity shop on a busy street in Henley, surrounded by several others. The shop was clean, spacious, and spread over two floors, which gives you plenty to browse through. There's a good variety of items ? from clothing and books to some lovely art pieces by local artists. Prices are reasonable, and the service is friendly and helpful. That said, the atmosphere doesn?t feel quite as warm or welcoming as in some of the nearby shops, but it?s still well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Henley's most expensive charity shop.

A great shop with great display and very well organised charity outlet. The staffs are extremely helpful and knowledgeable too. There are plenty of bargains with some unusual items on display.

I've recently had occasion to visit this shop a number of times. The shop is clean and bright and the ladies who run the show are invariably helpful and attentive - such a change from the off-hand service one encounters so often these days.

Brilliant little charity shop with good quality, decent clothes and accessories. I think a lot of their stuff is end of the line and donated brand new by clothing companies. I would definitely recommend going here. The staff are really friendly and it's all for a great cause.

In a town of charity shops, this is probably one of the poorer ones I'm afraid. Struggling even more now that a large Oxfam shop has moved next to it, the friendly staff do their best with what they have. Still worth popping in to look for a bargain, but eclipsed by the others.
