Do you have a soft spot for teddy bears and other cute soft toys?
If so, or perhaps you are looking for that special gift for a loved one or to treat yourself to something very special, then you really should pay a visit to Asquiths in Henley on Thames!
I am particularly interested in and collect all things Steiff, who are world renowned as being the ultimate quality manufacturers of teddy bears as well as a great many other soft animals, even including baby safe toys!
But Asquiths offer far more buying options than just Steiff, there's something to suit most pockets.
Having bought many Steiff bears over the years, I can also confirm that the prices at Asquiths are very competitive, I have found that so many people are still a little afraid of shopping in Henley on Thames, often worried that prices in general will be sky high, this is absolutely not the case, I would not buy anything at any cost, I'm no different than anyone else, always shopping around, looking for the best price possible.
The owner of this delightful store is often working behind the till, she is, as you would imagine, very knowledgeable and extremely friendly too.
You can find Asquiths in Hart Street, which is a very short walk from the dead centre of the town.
I must also mention that this store is a little like Doctor Who's Tardis, it's far bigger inside than it might appear from the outside!
I do hope you will visit Asquiths, such a wonderful, relaxing, smile inducing shop!
Today I purchased a newly released Steiff Superman Bear, as a gift for my wife, she loves it!

A truly charming little shop! Asquiths Teddy Bear Shop is a must-visit ? set in a beautiful old building with original features lovingly preserved, it feels like stepping into a storybook. The shelves are filled with teddy bears of all sizes, each one beautifully crafted with real character and care. You can tell these are high-quality pieces, and the prices reflect that. There are also some unique and interesting items around the shop that add to the magic. The lady at the counter was so friendly and welcoming. A perfect stop for collectors, gift hunters, or anyone who appreciates a bit of craftsmanship.

Absolutely wonderful customer support. My daughter bought a mouse from here on Saturday and promptly lost it! I contacted the shop as it was not available on their website, it was added to the site within minutes. When it arrived on Tuesday it was wearing a wooden tag with my daughters name on and came with a lovely note from the mouse saying that she had gone to find some cheese!

Asquiths is absolutely magical! Rachel the owner puts so much love and care into her Bearpawium that it?s impossible not to be drawn in - the incredible window display alone is the best in town! The shop itself smells gorgeous, is packed to the brim with beautiful bears and mischievous Maileg mice! It?s completely unique and dog-friendly with the two most human-loving little shop dogs ever so bring all your four-legged friends along too! A perfect example of a brilliant independent local business? we?ll be back!

lovely stock but small dog jumped up and growled at us and the owner did nothing, and all the stock on lower levels smells like dog so we ended up buying elsewhere :(

Found this store today and just had to walk inside. So adorable. The man working in there was so kind and friendly and it was fun looking around. Finally purchased a gift for my partner and a little something cute for myself. A beautiful and interesting store that stocks some very lovely items.

A teddy bears' wonderland just too lovely! I and my bear enjoyed so much and my bear chose a pair of sunglasses for himself! My bear met lots of soft furry new friends. We love the motto there is ALWAYS room for ONE MORE bear. There are hand-made bear clothes but unfortunately I couldn?t find a suitable one for my bear this time. We must visit again!

What a beautiful, exquisite shop! So far, for me, the best of its kind in the UK, and dare I say, in Europe! As a collector, this the place you want to go, definitely.Worth the journey to Henley-on-Thames just for the visit to this shop.

The most magical teddy bear shop on the planet. It?s enchanting with every and any type of stuffed toys you can image all in one shop. The amazing selection from hand crafted teddy bears made in the uk are just mind blowing. I was so wonderful to see my favourite brand of bears with all the accessories. It?s worth visiting and buying something if you are in the area. This shop makes you feel like a child again when you step into the shop. You don?t know where to look first and you want everything. Look forward going back again to buy my daughter her every own special teddy bear soon.

If you are a Teddy bear fan and are prepared to spend some serious cash then this is the place to visit in Henley. It caters for different sized pockets and they do sell other animals than just bears. The shop also sells accessories.

Went to this shop yesterday with my dad. All I can say is wow. Lovely shop. The guys are the best very helpful, nothing to much trouble, went in for one and come out with three, definitely will be going back, easy to get there, parking very near the shop, xx see you all very soon xx
