Tale of two halves this one. One meal, the burger on the specials list was very nice. However the sandwich was bland and the bread was very rubbery nearing stale. The second portion of chips to go with the sandwich never arrived but was initially still charged for them. Was told it?d be refunded but still waiting on that. Service was icy and very hurried. Lots of other nice places in the village I?d go over this one.

Pretty good cafe at Goring. Food was good and so was the ambience. I tried the Shakshuka and the minty morning smoothie. Both were quite good.

Very disappointed in our afternoon tea, egg sandwiches very dry bread not edable, tasted like they had been made to far in advance. Tea pots stained and dirty around spout need a good clean not just a rinse. Sorry won't be returning.

As cyclists we always stop here for a caffeine hit and sugar punch before hitting the quad killer called Streatley Hill. Great little cafe, very pleasant staff and a perfect location!.....tres bon!!....

Delicious food and the service is always lovely. It?s very popular so make sure to book a table to avoid disappointment.

Glad we booked ahead as the cafe was very busy - and I know why ? friendly welcome, delicious food, large selection of fabulous cakes, good service ? we can?t wait to return.

A lovely little cafe with high quality food and decent coffee. The seating out the front catches the morning sun. Highly recommend the carrot cake!

Loved it. Friendly staff. Simple light lunches. Super cakes and coffee. On street parking outside. Not sure whether there is a nearby carpark.

Sadly not the best experience. For a full english breakfast we got half, yes you saw that right, HALF a slice of toast which at £11.50 each borders on the mean side. Overall it was good food well cooked, although streaky bacon is not to our taste. Didn't match up to the nearest establishment for roughly the same price. When we came to pay the cashier asked for £37, which we queried 2x breakfast @ 11.50 =23 2xlattes @ 2.50 =5 making 28pounds. I also had a pot of tea which I don't know how much it was. Our server (manager?) came over and adjusted things on the till, when I tried to say we had not had extras, she quite abruptly asked me to let her talk to her staff! We ended up paying 34 pound something (husband can't remember) which makes a pot of tea £6.00!!! I wanted to go back to query it but husband said to leave it I have emailed the cafe direct but had no response.

Out for a walk in the Goring area, we stopped for lunch at this excellent cafe. The choice of food was wide and all looked good quality. The atmosphere was pleasant and relatively cool on this baking day! The burger and chips was very tasty and served with a delicious salad; there is also plenty for the vegetarian. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will return.
