The cake itself, as it?s their product, was nice. Their service is abysmal. I?ve worked in customer service for over a decade and have never been so shocked and appalled. I?ve seen previous reviews here surrounding the husband of this business being diabolically rude and them claiming it?s untrue, but I sincerely wouldn?t be surprised! He?s a nasty piece of work for a ?business partner?!They?re not inclusive of LGBT couples and he even shouted at my wife when she advised she wasn?t comfortable giving him bank details across (to be written down and put into a safe?!) after being messed about before. The husband even tried to lie to me and say my wife caused it! Absolutely disgusting, abysmal, petty, immature, deceitful, discriminatory service and a terrible company to work with.No data protection or GDPR guidelines, they?re so rude and offensive. His excuse is they?ve worked for 20+ years and know better than us, but this is evident given they?re still operating like they did at day 1, very poorly!Not only are they both rude, but he acted and had gone as far as to even IMPLY that they?re doing us a favour by being our supplier? we were their CUSTOMERS and they have treated us like we were worth nothing. We have friends who have gotten married locally and/or have known this company through wedding fairs, who are actively encouraged to avoid celebration cakes by their venues due to the awful customer service, evident in reviews here too! They have caused us grief and upset, and we will never recommend them to anyone for any event, ever. If we had a local wedding venue, we might have been warned of the same and be given the chance to have an enjoyable, professional, lovely supplier with knowledge of the modern day and basic respect/courtesy/manners. Instead, we were stuck with celebration cakes.There is nothing positive about a customers journey here, and the worst part is I fully believe this is something they simply couldn?t care less about. Without customers, which I could only believe would be customers who never heard of them prior to any meeting just like us, this business would flounder and if carrying on absolutely will given their inability to update themselves, their business and their petty, childish, vile attitudes. Customers do not deserve to be made to feel the way we and others do, there are plenty of other deserving suppliers deserving of business that they most certainly do not deserve and are most certainly not entitled to. Shame on you.Do NOT make the same mistake we did, do NOT use this supplier, avoid avoid avoid!!!**UPDATE - their Facebook profile is dishonest also, they deleted our review and blocked us, so of course it must only be full of any positive experience otherwise they?ll doctor it! Trying to create a front of an already tarnished supplier per the above? laughable

We met Catherine at a wedding fair back in 2020 - we were so amazed by how fantastic her cakes looked and tasted, we booked her three years ahead of time for our wedding on the 27th of October 2023!Catherine has been superb in her communication, we particularly enjoyed being invited to cake tasting sessions where we have been able to try such a wide range of flavours we never would have thought of for our wedding cake.We highly recommend her pina colada cake, and white chocolate and raspberry - these are the two flavours we chose and haven't stopped hearing from our guests on the day how utterly fantastic the cake tasted. Not only this, but the cake was truly beautiful and everything we envisioned. My now husband and I would recommend Catherine 100 times over for any couples looking for their dream wedding cake or any cake for any occasion!Thank you Catherine!

Catherine and the team were super helpful with creating our wedding cake. The cake tasted amazing and we managed to get the exact style we wanted including some fun elements that linked to us and our dog! Would highly recommend - Also, you have to take the opportunity to go to the cake tasting event - get ready for a lot of cake!

Most delicious cake!We ordered a cake for our wedding. The bride has celiac disease so it is always difficult getting a good gluten free cake avoiding any cross contamination.Catherine was great, she was very knowledgable and was patient getting our cake just right.The flavours were gorgeous and everyone enjoyed it - thank you!

I worked with Catherine to create a cake for my wedding day after meeting her at a wedding fair. The whole process was made super easy, she talked us through what would happen at each stage and communication throughout was great. Catherine took our ideas on board whilst also suggesting her own which meant we absolutely loved the finished product! The cake looked beautiful and tasted brilliant too - we are still working our way through it a week later! I would highly recommend Catherine.

After tasting samples of Catherine's cakes at wedding fairs I knew she was the perfect person to make our cake. My husband and I didn't consider anyone else.From our first consultation we were excited to see our cake on our wedding day! Inspired by Catherine's Lego reveal cakes we described an idea of an icing explosion surrounded by Stormtrooper minifigures on the back. The final result was better than we imagined, complete with 'fallen' Lego blocks on the cake base.For the front of our cake we were recommended to have clusters of flowers. These were exquisitely made in sugar paste to match my bouquet of roses and rosemary.We went along to Catherine's open evening which was brilliant as we were able to taste a wide choice of sponge options available. We opted for the classic vanilla sponge with butter cream and jam for our middle tier because it was the least similar to our dessert. We both love Christmas cake so our bottom tier had to be a fruit cake! We wanted the top tier to be suitable for close relatives with several allergies. Pardon the pun, seeing them enjoy the vegan and gluten free chocolate sponge tier was the icing on the cake!As a recommended supplier to our venue, Ufton Court, Catherine took care of all the delivery arrangements liaising with our wedding coordinator to make sure our cake was set up perfectly before our guests started arriving.We opted for a rotating cake stand which was perfect for our reveal design and it also matched the back monochrome Star Wars theme!All our guests also thought the design was amazing and very much enjoyed eating it!We highly recommended Catherine if you need a cake for any occasion.

Thank you for the cake on our big day at Wasing park. Was delicious and the Angel and Stitch figures looked cute ?. The guest gobbled it all up. The red velvet was the big hit. Wish we had more. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly recommend Catherine and her team to anyone searching for a wedding cake provider. Our wedding cake was beautiful, and tasted amazing and was so popular we had very little leftover to take home ourselves!The choice provided by Catherine is immense, with a vast array of flavours that made choosing very difficult. In the end we chose Lemon, Carrot cake, champagne and strawberry and a traditional fruit cake layer, all tasted very good and many of our guests commented on how good the cake was.The service we had from Catherine was amazing, especially during COVID when we were rearranging everything several times and at short notice. Nothing was too much trouble and they fully understood the problems we were facing and were super supportive as a supplier who themselves must have been going through difficult times during COVID.Overall, we would definitely recommend Catherine?s cakes to anyone and will be back in touch with her for our next event!

Catherine and her team made us the most stunning 4 layer semi-naked wedding cake, each layer a delicious different flavour. We got amazing feedback from our guests on the day. The whole end to end service was faultless, and the price was very good too. I cannot recommend Catherines-cakes highly enough for a special celebration.

Catherine's incredible England rugby cake, complete with personalised figures of my husband and I, was a huge talking point at our wedding. Many said it was the best cake they had ever seen! Wonderful detail and an even better taste - red velvet and toffee/salted caramel. Catherine was a delight to deal with and very kind with all the covid changes. Thank you Catherine for making our day even more perfect!

Had the most amazing cake made by Catherine for my Grandaughter,not only was it superbly decorated and looked beautiful it also tasted first class. A light airy tasty sponge. Everyone at the birthday celebrations commented on how good it was. Thank you Catherine.
