Great staff members and variety of food. However, the black security guard currently employed by Waitrose seriously has issues. Constantly eyeing up and focussing on certain individuals and not allowing to search or read contents of food. Making you feel like you're not wanted or are some sort of criminal.

Self checkout, something to avoid at all costs, but today it must be addressed, Waitrose Faringdon today pretty void of customers.To add to the 'checkout'; dreaded CCTV is looking down at my purchases, and 'me too', this is new. Where is all this stuff going, stored deep in the Waitrose vaults for future use.I find this intrusive, and weird..

Friendly staff but very limited stock and range. We have lived locally for 3 months and half of the freezers have been broken for all of that time. The shelves are often empty and basics such as tissues not in stock. I understand that the store is undergoing refurbishment but I won?t be returning. Wantage is a much better stocked store

It's a small but well stocked and well kept shop, ideal for a quick nip in to get evening dinner or lunch to make. If they haven't got it I'm sure that there is a shop the other side of the car park that may have.Friendly staff and plenty of parking.

I came in last Tuesday and had trouble finding the quail eggs. Luckily a lovely polite chap called Ben showed me the way! Will most defiantly be coming back and hopefully I see that hunk again.

Staff are slow and not customer focused. Lots of staff milling around working slowly and congregating in aisles chatting about personal matters. They get in the way of customers.Only 1 till open when queues are forming. Staff don't greet customers but just blindly shuffle your products through like robots.With the premium you pay here I expect better service.

Obviously the food quality is excellent, but after popping in to get a magazine, we ended up picking up a few essentials and some alcohol without taking too much notice of the prices... I guessed it would be about £60 as we approached the tills, but was a bit shocked at the £93 bill!

Desperately need to change the security firm employed to manage covid response.Most have a problem with even the most basic manners, are rude to customers & think it?s justifiable following people around the shop, I?d love the hear the thesis on why he thought I may be stealing. As a regular customer for almost a year it?s insulting to be treated as a thug when the glorified thug on the door can?t even muster up as much of a good morning in response when greeted on entering the store.Night club bouncers perhaps not the best fit?
