Don?t dare get doner meat and chips from here, you?ll 100% regret it. Having eaten this many times from all over the uk, this place was by far the worst I?ve ever had. He sliced the meat with a kitchen knife and picked it off with his fingers to fry on the plancha. Then those horrid, light yellow oil tasting chips!? I?ve no idea how you get chips to taste so horrible. I was really hungry but ate very little of it, it went in the bin near the charity shop. Genuinely the worst doner meat and chips I?ve ever had. Never again.

The food was enjoyed by all.

Visited for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Based on the reviews I would not have bought from here but this was the only chippy open for lunch locally so we decided to risk it.
Personally, I think it is better than the 2.8 stars rating. It has a hygiene rating of 5 so that was reassuring. Yes, the shop is a bit old fashioned and the sign/decoration does not help sell it. The owners are a kind elderly couple. The menu is extensive. They sell everything you can imagine. The lunch offer is very good value for money. Ok, it is not the best chips we have had but it is not bad. The batter is a bit heavy but ok. It is actually quite a quaint place. It is not a place we would promote or recommend but we would happily order from for lunch again.

Got a large pizza and with in ten minutes I was very ill sick Doe was soggy filling was watery and the pizza as a whole was uncooked and instantly mad me feel ill up all night being sick and number 2 deffo wouldn't recommend

The worst food I've ever eaten,the chips were hard,the fish and sausage had been under a heat light for hours and the bread roll was stale avoid at all costs an utterly terrible dinning experience how there still trading is beyond me

After 1 hour 45 min wait for delivery, I called and heard some excuse about the internet being down! They could not tell me when my order would be ready so asked for it to be cancelled! They refused to refund me at first, then said I needed to come in to collect cash for refund!Spoke to manager Jose who said refund will be with me in up to 5 days to my payment card - we will see!

Honestly, one of the best chicken kebab I've ever had, great flavours and good portion size as well. And to have it in a baguette, is a genuine idea!! Onion rings were tasty, super cheap. It's like stepping into a proper 80s chippy with all the vintage advertisement.

Always order for delivery. Never receiving everything we order and call up to say they are missing an item to wait 20 mins + when we live in Faringdon for it to be re delivered. Call up to say we?ve eaten majority of our meal for them it play dumb and not understand- disgusting service!!!! Do not recon and we are routine customers and will not be ordering again!
