The garage was closed even tho 2 staff were there ment to be a 24 hour the rudeness of the night staff is totally unacceptable there's a nght serving point at window and got turned away

We first visited Monday 30th December and a kind and helpful lady served us, so we purposely decided to plan our return stop today (3rd Jan) at the same services. However today my whole family was verbally abused by an 'Alan' (to confirm, at the M&S Food Outlet at Service Station. Buckland Connect site ID 11800389).
As we browsed the shop my teenage daughter wanted to purchase a coffee, from her own money. The BP cafe till had a sign up saying it was closed, and Alan was hovering around the till, but didn't seem to be doing anything constructive. My daughter and myself walked away from the BP cafe till and joined my wife at the other till who was purchasing the M&S items.
As we joined my wife, Alan called 'next' so it was an obvious mistake to make that Alan had seen a potential customer walk away and was offering to serve us.....oh no what a mistake to assume this!!
I said to my daughter, 'go and order your coffee' and I said to Alan, 'she would like a coffee'. Alan said 'No, you can buy it there' (ie where we were being served). I said 'Its a separate transaction'. But Alan was determined to upset my daughter. My wife then came over to Alan to order my daughter's coffee, and Alan raised his hand to her face and called over another customer.
Words were said and Alan lost all control, he came up to me and aggressively said 'I used to be a Head Teacher, what are you a bin man?'. His colleague kept saying to Alan things like 'Leave it', 'calm down' etc but Alan was getting crosser and crosser for no reason . He kept staring at me trying to push for a reaction, he commented on my parenting and kept staring.
I asked him to stop staring at me more than once in a calm manner. He then demanded I leave. The gentleman serving me again asked Alan to leave it but he wouldn't and the person serving urged me to continue with my purchases. I paid for our sandwiches and snacks and left.
I don't know why Alan had an issue with a teenage girl purchasing a coffee and I don't know why he felt he was entitled to act as 'headmaster' again and try to intimidate me and my family.
Firstly we won't be purchasing any M&S products from and store until this matters is resolved. Secondly, as EV drivers we won't ever visit any BP forecourt ever again even if just for food and snacks.
Reading other 1 star reviews on here recently I can only assume Alan's rudeness today is not a one off. I can see someone called Lawrence replies to reviews left. Lawrence I have already emailed the BP Care email and M&S . You need to take note of the comments and remove the staff member who is upsetting so many customers with his rudeness.
I would like to thank the person who actually served us, his customer service skills were spot on, as were the young lady who previously served us 5 days ago.

Parked overnight in my hgv only good thing about this place was free parking.
Toilet dirty & grubby looks like not cleaned in a long time, staff would rather be on there phones or talking between themselves rather than serve customers & the worst thing ever is the rat infestation outside I've never seen so many rats running around in one place.

I have never been served by a more apathetic and at times rude staffing team. Not a single one bothered to even try to 'serve' us. We felt like we were an inconvenience, daring to come in and ask for anything!
I ordered a cheese toastie, upon opening it, it was just warm bread - so I asked for another only to be pretty much 'thrown' another overpriced warm bread sandwich. So unbelievably rude - I was so shocked.

The signage for this stop says "services" but there was only one e toilet for men AND women and that had not been cleaned recently. Most disappointing and disagreeable.Especially for what is clearly a busy stop.Not sure if we will trust it again.

Regular users of the "roadside chains" for business or mid-journey stopovers but first time at a Mollies. Fantastic experience from start to finish; room was spacious, well furnished, immaculately clean. The bed was huge! Staff were friendly and helpful. Having the 'on-tap' hot/cold drinking water available 24/7 is a huge bonus (and no worrying about how clean the kettle is!) The diner is a real bonus to your stay; and the fact it's as well used by locals as guests says plenty about the quality and choice of food. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Wow! Super trendy, lovely designs and clinically clean. The service is attentive without being over staged. The rooms are beautifully designed and the bed comfort is near equal the the "W" hotels in the US. Would return without a doubt. Missed a 5 star+ review as the room TV had a mind of its own to randomly turn on during the night.

Husband & I wanted to get away for a couple of days and we came across an advert for Mollies - Decided to book in at the Oxfordshire location and was not disappointed. Amazing Staff, Super comfortable room, Diner on site. Beautiful Area. Seriously did not want to leave, so much so that I have just booked a single night getaway for us at the Bristol location for the end of the month. I'm pretty sure Mollies will be our go to destinations in the future.

I had an old school shrimp cocktail that was just superb. A really good portion with great sauce. Then I had the Mollie's Club Sandwich. A different version from a 'standard' club sandwich but it was delicious. Super chicken and avocado filling. I have to mention that I had a side of fries with blue cheese sauce that was fab. I was dining with family and we all had a great time as the service was excellent and we were really well looked after. Highly recommended - you should go and try the dining experience.

Mollies was a rather big surprise. My husband suggested it but I wasn?t too keen on a diner. Very pleasantly surprised. The traffic was horrendous on the day but even arriving nearly an hour late we were warmly welcomed. Once we were shown to our table the drinks and food orders were taken quite quickly. I?d ordered the Eggs Florentine and the poached eggs were done to perfection. Thank you for that because I was prepared to be disappointed. Shouldn?t have ordered a dessert but I succumbed! The waffle was much bigger than I?ve ever seen a waffle. Ice cream, fruit compote and maple syrup. I?m going back to have waffle starters, mains and pudding!

Went for lunch today. Clean, friendly and very efficient. We were greeted and served quickly Top quality Burger and Fries, plus Salad Bowl, Cherry Pie and Ice Cream. Thank you We will be back and bring the grandchildren
