Nice pub and inn with views over river Thames with seating on side of river. Must be great in summer.Alas no snacks mid afternoon just crisps and drinks. Please t staff, nice atmosphere.

We've eaten here twice in the last couple of weeks and the service and food has been faultless on both occasions. We celebrated my Mum's birthday last night and she requested something that wasn't on the current menu and they kindly made it on request. We also ordered the custard and pear tart to share between four (which was insanely good) and they kindly served it all on separate small plates. This is the type of place that goes the extra mile for its customers!

The Talbot Inn is just absolutely amazing.Lovely clean, warm rooms, so comfortable.The food is also amazing.I will stay here again.

We went for a sunday lunch with my folks. They say it's always busy, called in the morning to see if a table available for 4, but unfortunately they were full. Just as my mum was explaining this, she got a call to say there had been a cancellation and a table available at 1.30, good news and great service.Top class Sunday lunch in great settings and attentive,but not over baring staff.

Myself & our Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary Carterton team had our Christmas meal here, the food, service and welcome was outstanding. We followed the Talbot team from Alvescot when they moved because the food was excellent. Our volunteers were thrilled, we all had a great night. Highly recommended didn't want the evening to end.Food & drinks: Very high end quality for a very reasonable price.

Just had my works Christmas party, well what an absolutely amazing time we all had.. everyone commented on how amazing the food was the staff are super efficient, friendly and welcoming.. would highly recommend anyone to come here for a meal. We will definitely be returning.
