I purchased a VitrA S 50 soft close toilet seat from QS supplies on the 11th August to replace a seat that had been there since 2005 and the only reason for replacing was that it discoloured over time the new seat was £65.00 not cheap for a toilet seat but it was to replace the existing seat which was fitted to a Vitra toilet.I contacted QS supplies and told them that there was water marks which could not be removed who forwarded my email to Vitra who replied by saying that we have used bleach on the seat and left urine on the seat without wiping it of.On the basis we had the last seat for 20 years and never used bleach on the seat only used soapy water I don?t think this is a satisfactory answer any thoughts would be good. Would put this down to dodgy manufacture beware when purchasing Vitra products

After one year, the WC has failed and tech support can?t help with the spare part that?s needed. Poor poor service. If only I knew this before I bought two units for over £2500.

I am a retailer who recommends this all the time and for the price it good to get such a good quality product. The poor comments on here are mainly linked to the service which maybe down to the shop they bought from rather than Vitra. I have used warranty claims twice for my shop and they were excellent replaced a chipped basin foc which is always a questionable one! Toilet seat no questions asked as it was in warranty period!

I have a new S50 and it stains very easily. I thought this is a good brand but clearly some improvement need to be made here. P.s. have used various brand of toilet before through rented properties and none of them stain so bad.

Worst company ever.I have been trying for the last 3 months to get a leaky toilet pan replaced under warranty.I am being lied and fobbed off by customer support.If I had the choice I would never ever go anywhere near Vitra.Avoid at all costs

Lovely bathroom products but unfriendly and unreasonable customer service and therefore I wouldn't order again. Three bathrooms ordered, one sink was misordered by us as our designers or architects mismeasured it. Agreed to take a hit on the return refund, it was unopened in its cardboard box but one TINY tear on the box which I believe was there upon delivery and the return has been refused. Missed the bigger picture, you'll not get our holiday lets now and unlikely to get repeat business from our supplier.
