Had a missed Parcelforce delivery card through the letterbox. Told to collect from the post office after 24hours. Went the next day and 2 ladies (one is the manager) said there hadn?t been any deliveries and they couldn?t find the parcel. Came home, 30 mins on the phone to speak to Parcelforce (also unacceptable) but the lady there was friendly and helpful as was able to confirm parcel was with post office and signed for the previous day by the manager. Back up to the post office and it took an age for the other lady to find it. Appears to be no logging of parcels nor any particular system to file/store. Hopeless. First visit they simply didn?t care that (even though I had tracking to say it was there) I might even be right!

The staff make you feel like an inconvenience. One middle aged man with dark short hair who works there spent the entire transaction moaning about how much he hates doing Amazon returns (the reason I was there). Another member of staff (older lady with short hair) told me off for not looking at the Amazon Hub return screen quickly enough when I was trying to also look after my young baby. Some of the worst customer service I have encountered.

I am writing to lodge a serious complaint about discrimination, abuse of power, and verbal intimidation by a member of the local Post Office in Didcot, Georgetown Post Office, Wantage Road 52-60.This is not the first time that this member, a woman aged between 30-40, tall with long hair, etc. (she did not want to give her name when asked) has displayed such behaviour towards me.I arrived at the branch at around 12:30 on a Saturday, and the clerk informed me that the woman behind me would be the last one to be attended. I would like to clarify the rules here - if the post office is open between 9 am - 1 pm, shouldn't all customers who arrive during those hours be attended to? If there are too many customers, perhaps there should be more than one employee present to serve the public during those hours.I waited patiently in the queue, and when it was my turn, I started the service. However, I was asked to fill in some paperwork on the side, and the clerk served two customers who arrived after the time she said she would not serve anymore. I did not mind and said she could serve them before me, as I was not in a hurry. The woman serving me was very friendly, and I even thanked her for her attention. However, when she was ready to serve me again, it was nearly 1 pm. She was unsure about the process to send the parcel and said she did not like to do those types of parcels. I did my best to help her, even spelling out the names and addresses written on the envelope.During this process, the woman who I am complaining about arrived. She was not at the office at all, and I am not sure if she was working or just visiting. She immediately came in with an attitude, shouting at the lady from far away, "ARE YOU OK? I AM COMING THERE."She took over and started doing the work instead of the lovely lady who was serving me. Unfortunately, I was given the wrong information about the price, and I was asked if I wanted track service, which would cost around 5 pounds. I agreed, but after the clerk saw that the letters were to be sent abroad, the price changed to around 28 pounds. I found this to be too expensive and requested a cheaper option. I was informed it would be a few pounds cheaper, and I said, that I understood, but was my decision on how much I could be able to pay.The woman became rude and insisted that I pay first and then she would see what would be cheaper for future reference. I refused, saying that I needed to know the exact amount before I paid. The woman then accused me of being rude to her friend and pushed my parcels back to me, closed the binders and left me standing there.I asked for her name, but she refused to give it. She then came out, opened the door and told me to leave, claiming that I had been rude to her friend. This behaviour is unacceptable on several levels. First, she cannot talk in the name of other people. She was the one who brought the tension to the situation. Second, she cannot intimidate me by opening the door, coming out, and telling me to leave. Third, this same person has been rude to me on several occasions in the past, but I did not complain. Today was enough. I felt intimidated, disrespected, and abused. I believe she did this because I am a foreigner, and she feels she has the right to treat me this way.I left the post office with my parcels in my hand, feeling like a criminal without any explanation. I was verbally abused by a member of the team. This ruined my day, and I felt sick afterwards.I am also filing a complaint with the local police. I will not accept this kind of treatment any longer.Best regardsAG

The staff are often uninterested in helping and have a poor attitude. No respect for customers and often heard complaining. Staff at the Broadway branch are much more friendly and professional.

Why doesn't the Co op do something about the attitude of the Post Office Staff. They are so rude and they know that nothing will be said to them. Why does the Co op allow is behaviour toward customer.

Frequently closes early - why advertise closing at 17.30 on weekdays at 1pm on Saturdays if you can't be bothered to accept new customers after 17.10 or 12.45?

The staff here were by far much nicer than post office staff I have spoken to at many different places. They were friendly, patient and helpful. They have decent opening times, and my friend received the things I sent her on time. What more could you want? :)

Staff have been friendly during my few visits to the post office, and the queue hasn't been too long each time

This is the most racist post office I have ever had the misfortune to use. Unfortunately it?s the closest post office to me and for accessibility reasons I have to use it. Both myself and my partner have been subject to racial discrimination. For some reason the man and woman behind the counter think I can?t hear their abuse just because they are behind the glass screen. I?ve even asked them what they are saying and they pretend they don?t understand me even though I am born and bred in this country with an English accent! All the staff need some equality and diversity training.

The staff in the Co-op store are usually polite and friendly. The post office in the store (which is run by Midcounties Co-op) is certainly not staffed by polite and friendly people. I won't be using this post office again.Edit: It appears I was served by Sam who seems to need no introduction on here.

The rudest service I have received in that post office in co-op, totally uncalled for. It is snail pace and when you get there, if you asked her to repeat what she said (because loud background noise), you would get poor attitude. Why speak to another person like that? Just to make everything miserable? Terrible!!

I have been going into Georgetown post office for many many years. Never had a problem what so ever. Que goes down quickly. Never heard anyone moan as they walk away. Sam is very good at her job and is always polite when I have been in there.
