I went to this restaurant with my wife and 8 month old daughter tonight on a whim and I was thoroughly impressed! The service was great and super friendly, the food was great, and the music and vibe was fantastic. I will definitely be back and bringing people to experience this resteraunt!

Everything about our time at Kolkata was excellent. Food and service was very good and few extras were very generous. Highly recommend. Good portion sizes, lots of flavour and host was very accommodating and friendly.

Popped in to this restaurant whilst travelling for work. Very busy for a Tuesday night, which says a lot about the restaurant. Food was fantastic and very reasonably priced and service was very friendly.

Great Indian restaurant with a wide variety of choices! I really enjoyed the mix of classic British-Indian dishes I love, along with some creative new twists. They also offer plenty of authentic Indian cuisine, all full of flavor and really well-prepared. The owner was very friendly, which made the experience even better. Overall, a very good spot that I?d definitely return to!

This restaurant is amazing! We stopped in while in town on business and made the choice to go here because of the good reviews. They live up to the reviews! They were incredibly friendly going over the menu and their specialties - and it was all incredible. Next time I'm in Didcot for business I will definitely return. Five out of five stars!

I loved the food, the stuff was lovely. restaurant looks nice altho Id suggest putting more india themed decorations for atmosphere but i enjoyed my visit for sure

We love eating at Kolkata. The food is always excellent and we know we will get a warm welcome from Ali. When we order takeaway it's always hot and ready when he says it will be.
Update February 2025 - Following a house move, I haven't been able to get to this fabulous restaurant for many months. I met up with some friends and persuaded them to eat there. We all absolutely loved it. My friends both saying it's the best curry they have had in ages. Ali was a gracious host, the food was excellent. I can totally recommend eating here.
