Really impressive from start to finish. James was dedicated to ensuring communication channels were always open, as well as a successful completion. The chain could easily have broken down due to the ineptitude and laziness of other (large chain) estate agents, but thankfully, and due to James? endeavours, this didn?t happen. Thank you!

We have recently sold our house with James Gesner. What an absolute gem of an agent, going above and beyond to help us. He setup a WhatsApp group with us and shared regular updates and opportunities with us. James is very proactive agent, he is open and honest and went out of his way particularly through the later stages of exchange and completion to gee all other parties along. We would whole heartedly recommend him and his friendly team. If you are looking for an agent that breaks the mould, go to James and his team!!!

Gesners was a pain in the back when it came to receiving my deposit refund at the end of my 3 year tenancy. We cleaned the apartment to a good standard and also hired professional cleaners to clean the whole house including kitchen, oven and windows. However, the checkout inspector concluded that further cleaning was required. Gesner then quoted my landlord an outrageously high price of £564 for further cleaning! It was only a 3-bed house! I offered a further £240 for cleaning, which was more than enough but still they pushed for £564. Luckily, deposits are protected by the TDS, which mediates disputes, so I painstakingly submitted my claim and the TDS concluded that I was right. It was a lot of effort and a sour ending to an otherwise successful tenancy. It was an indictment on how Gesner treats its tenants - they seem to care about landlords and not tenants, so be warned if you are renting through Gesner.

I hugely recommend using James Gesner Estate Agents, they are such a friendly and knowledgeable team and make you feel like your own house/search is their absolute priority! Our move wasn?t an easy one during Covid times and we had a unique chain too (!) but we got sound advice from James throughout.
