If I could rate a 0 I would, absolutely horrific customer service from this shop, I brought a brand new what I thought to be working laptop from them at the end of May, by the beginning of June this laptop was broken and didn?t turn on or charge ! I have spoken to a few customer advisors over the phone promised a phone call back and yet to receive one!! I get married in a couple of weeks and need my own laptop for this, they are still advising it?s in repair when I said I didn?t want this laptop repaired due to it being a fault appliance they sold me and I wanted either a refund or a brand new laptop, this was told no we have to send it off for repair and it will be up to 28 days well I get married and this time frame does not work for me! I have expressed my anger and will be taking this further with management! Do not buy any appliances from this shop they rip you off

Do yourself a favour and avoid at all cost this store or make sure you check your purchases on the spot as they are selling used items, with slimy make up and smell of cigarettes and advertising as new ones . When asked to be replaced they will send you to other store and so. The woman from there she's useless and rushing and not provide help . Outrageous

The fans are so overpriced! Why do store charge so much for a basic fan . I got a love 12 inch fan of Amazon for £20 .Argos you really need to stop over charging for goods .

Bought a mobile phone for my daughter. After collecting the phone and going through it?s features etc we decided this wasn?t the type of phone we wanted for her. We did not put the SIM card in , all we did was switch the phone on and browse through. Collected the phone the Monday tried to take it back the Saturday. Was told because I had broken the seal hence cannot return the phone back . Obviously you would need to open the item to view it!! Spoke to the manager Vikki and her colleague who were of no help. From the beginning of the conversation I was convinced they would not have provided any sort of customer service whatsoever. Sadly the Abingdon branch is closed but I won?t be going back to Didcot !! I was told I could try to sell it myself! The cheek !! Stuck with a useless phone !!!

I ordered using my finance argo card. I came to the store in Didcot to collect the item. I gave the lady serving me on the counter the item number. She checks and confirmed everything was okay but I had undergone a lot of security check. She saw my Argos card. She asked to show another card in my wallet to confirm my identity. I showed another card. And I had Mrs on another card. She said still not sure you the same person. I asked the manager please this is me. You have both seen two cards with the same name. It was ridiculous. Just cause I got married to different "Mrs or miss. No brainer, it is the same person. I asked my spouse, who bought an item if he went thru this same security check. My spouce said nope.
