Popped in this morning on our way home after a night away. Saw the signs on the side of the road.
Only swung in for a coffee - ended up staying for an early lunch with the kids. We played scrabble.
Food and service was great.
I can really recommend it. The coffee was spot on

The perfect English breakfast served. Very good portion sizes. Obviously high quality products. Lovely atmosphere! Friendly staff. And THE BEST DONUTS to take home with you on a Saturday morning. But be quick as they go fast.

I would like this place a lot more but the music they have playing is terrible, more suited to a car advert, and it ruins what would otherwise be a great experience.

Visited yesterday,no friendly greeting from any members of staff. Menu?s were grubby and would be better laminated to prevent the spreading of germs.Our table had not been cleaned One sandwich was made with a very thin crust,not acceptable for the prices charged. Anemic looking sausage in the sandwich.Definitely no friendly,thankyou on departure. Visited a couple of times before but this time it came across as nobody could be bothered with customers the staff just wanted to chat behind the counter.

A great local cafe, bit of a hidden away gem in Cholsey.Nice coffee and good sized food and cake portions. I like the sandwiches that always come with a generous side salad serving and the friendly staff, plus the cakes are yummy.

Such a shame! Great atmosphere / Nice decor. 30 minute wait for food (not necessarily a problem) / Very small potion size for price (again not the worst problem) but after the food arrived to our table there was no cutlery (in the entire cafe!) for 10 whole minutes! Having asked every staff member - there was a cutlery shortage because it was busy in the morning (hours earlier) (now THAT is the big problem)£13 breakfasts cold by the time we had cutlery - 10 minutes after the food was delivered to the table. Inexcusable! Nice Cafe ruined by service. Please avoid unless you have the entire day free and want to pay more than elsewhere.
