Not very nice. In need of modernisation. Ladies toilets disgusting, cobwebs everywhere, cleaner should be sacked. Won't be visiting again.

Lovely rooms, the old style is nice. The room was clean and had all the required towels. Would have been nice to have a few more stocks of milk for tea and coffee. The place was unfortunately not doing food during our stay, but the staff were happy to recommend other places.

It's a good place to drink and it looks like they are starting up live music again.?

I recently stayed at The Kings arms Hotel for two nights as I initially went to visit Jeremy Clarkson's farm but also took the time to explore chat Chipping Norton has to offer. My stay there was superb and couldn't really fault it. It stated that it wasn't doing food so off the cuff plans were made for that, but the stay at the hotel itself was lovely.I booked the triple room with the bath which was so nice after the drive there. The Room is a great size with plenty of tea and coffee to keep you going and the comfort of the room was second to none.It was clean and tidy which is all you can really ask for when you are looking for a place to get your head down basically. The staff were pleasant and very welcoming each time they seen you and the landlady took extra time it was felt having a chat with you which was great. There is plenty of space in the car area and it has a pool table and dartboards towards the rear of the pub.Again that itself was clean tidy and inviting with a warm environment and pleasant/ welcoming atmosphere.Drinks are fairly priced and the land lady knows how to measure her spirits and mixer perfectly.I'd highly recommend staying here and would do so again time and time again.

A great comfortable stay in a perfect location. Clean comfortable bed with tea making facilities, TV and clean ensuite shower room. We had a nice walk to Diddly Squat Farm, it took 30 mins along the main road - nice pleasent easy walk. There's also the X9 bus that goes straight from the village to the farm (£2.50 pp). Several lovely pubs are in chipping Norton, the 'Blue Boar' and 'Bitter and Twisted' being our favourite. Avoid Spice Of India. We had awful food and service there - there's another Indian restaurant the other end of the high street. There's a few options for breakfast, right on your doorstep, so no problem with The Kings Arms not offering breakfast.

I would stay here again. The people are lovely. Yes it's a bit old, no there isn't A/C, the mattress is good, the bathroom small, BUT it's clean, the location is absolutely excellent, the people are awesome, and we had a blast. Chipping Norton may not be for everyone but for us it was honest good people in a beautiful location who treat you very nicely. Local restraints like the Fox and the Blue Boar we're excellent and the bistro across the street has excellent coffee and amazing breakfasts.Arknell Hurricane is my favorite beverage.Enjoy.

Excellent place to stay. There is no breakfast included but just across the street you can have a feast! The land lady (don't remember her name) was extremely pleasant, we had a great conversation and she was very knowledgeable about the area. We had a great room with a patio out front, facing the terrace. Very good experience. Would definitely recommend! Can't wait to go back!

Rooms were mostly clean. No shower, only a bath was available. The light above the bathroom mirror didn't work, only flickered and the mainlight in the bathroom was not great.Beds were ok.Walls are paperthin so you could here the neighbouring rooms very well. Some cobwebs around the lights.Car park was very small and already full, so we had to park 5min away on foot.Service was friendly.Be aware, no food is being served. But enough options are nearby. All in all, not a bad inn and we had a good nights rest.

One of the most friendly pubs I have even been in. Good beer and great staff.
