Excellent Sunday lunch. We had the lamb & beef & it was beautifully cooked & so tasty.
Plentiful vegetables plus cauli cheese & Yorkshires. The roast potatoes were the best I have ever had at a restaurant. Sadly we were too full to have desert.
The staff were very friendly & helpful & couldn't have been nicer. Unfortunately we live too far away for this to be a regular place to eat but I can't recommend The Maltsters enough. Amazing value for money too. Keep up the good work, you have a really lovely place there.

Really well looked after, on a super sunny day.
Plenty of cool, shaded places. The staff worked well and hard, on a baking hot day, keeping an eye on all tables, and serving great food, with a great atmosphere. #LocalHeroes #MaltstersArms

We had a lovely meal for Father's Day today. All food was delicious, service friendly and efficient and not rushed despite it being a busy day and a full pub. It was our first time visiting and we'll definitely be back. The puddings in particular were fantastic - in fact one of our party said it was the best cheesecake she'd ever had, anywhere!!

A lunch date with friends on a sunny day at the Maltsers was lovely. They have a Garden area that was like a sun trap and excellent for more lunch drinks. We moved inside for lunch with a great choice of seating. Food was really tasty with the parfait, soup and whitebait for starters and fish, scampi and rarebit for mains followed by coffee and tea. A lovely few hours in a very delightful establishment. Loads of parking and dog friendly (always worth checking first though)

We had our wonderful wedding lunch in the beautiful room at the front of the pub. The room is light but cosy and looked stunning with the flowers and lit candles.
We had vegans and vegetarian guests and Rich made the effort of thinking outside the box for their food and they were delighted!
Great food and great hospitality from Sam and Rich and the team at the Maltsters.
The perfect place for a small, intimate wedding. Highly recommend for food, ambience, and service.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Maltsters Arms, and it was a truly enjoyable experience. The setting is charming and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed meal. Myself and my partner enjoyed a bottle of the house white wine. I ordered the steak, which was cooked to perfection?tender, juicy, and full of flavor. For dessert, the cereal panna cotta was a delightful surprise: smooth, creamy, and creatively presented. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Overall, it was a memorable dining experience, and I highly recommend The Maltsters Arms to anyone looking for great food in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Most excellent venue. Sam and Rich and their Team have done a great job since they took over this pub. I've tried Friday night solo, Tuesday in party of 3 plus Friday lunchtime solo. Excellent food, good service and an easy relaxed atmosphere. Cannot fault anything. I hope you try it and are as happy as I am.

We had the most amazing roast dinner with the family, it was lovely sitting outside at this countryside pub!
The NEW OWNERS are absolutely lovely, so friendly and set off such a good vibe!
