Don?t trust Watson Fuels!Don?t trust Watson Fuels to charge you the current rate for oil if on their automatic top up monthly payment scheme. First time in years that I checked and they charged me 28% more than the going rate at the time. Overcharged me £120 for 750 litres.I emailed in stating that the cost seemed high and had there been a billing mistake and no questions asked they credited my account by £120 charging 68p per litre rather than the 84p already charged. Other companies stated that cost of oil on the delivery date should have been 66p.Made a few calls and seems this is normal for Watson not to charge customers on their scheme the market rate for oil on the delivery date.Cancelled my DD and will never use them again!

Would give zero if that was an option. Ordered on Jan 31. Missed delivery date of Feb 14 and no updates at all. Had to cancel, place an emergency order elsewhere and pick up extra heating fuel to make sure we don?t run out this weekend.

Ordered mid December and told i would have to wait until end first week of Jan. No problem for me I said.Called them Monday this week and told it was in the Thursday run but might be Friday. No problem again but i made the point i was low and needed a delivery.Friday pm i get home and no delivery and no contact from the company.I overlooked the reviews because i was recommended this company. Perhaps I shouldn't have. Currently they have my money and no service has been delivered.

Having a really bad time with them. Ordered fuel on 1st December and still no delivery on 21st December. Been told three times that it is coming later today or in next 48 hours - nothing. Getting through to them is nightmare - they answer calls for new orders after a few minutes but these people cant follow up on oustanding orders. For follow-up enquires you wait forever. Just been waiting for 1.5 hours for them to answer the other line but no response. I have used them for 15 years but they have some new system that is a total failure - avoid them or freeze.

Utter joke of a company- avoid like the plague! How can an order of oil be so difficult-?excuses/ lies and incompetence . Gone elsewhere now and saved £45. Read the Reviews- how many 1*? It?s the majority for goodness sake. Watsons is a joke

Used to be a good company to deal with, but the last year or so has been a total nightmare, fuel never turns up when they say it will, every time we call there is a different excuse.

Absolute shambles of a company!!Customer care/service is non existent. Promised a call back reference the order we had placed and nothing!Order eventually turned up today.Spoke with the delivery driver and he advised that many are leaving as they are constantly getting angry customers moaning at them due to the poor service. Felt sorry for him as he looked beaten.Tried to call this afternoon to vent my concerns but on hold for 43 minutes and gave up.We have used Watson for many years but will definitely not be using again!!Stay well clear!!

DO NOT ORDER FORM THEM!!! I ordered heating on 4 weeks ago to it not have turned up. Ringing them up and they tell me that my order wasn?t even placed even though bank details had been exchanged. I then explained I have no heating and the temperatures are getting colder, I got told ?your best bet is to phone other fuel company?s and get emergency fuels? no help! Disgusting customer service and not happy at all! Ordered with Butler Fuels and it?s come within 10 days!!

Terrible customer service, we have been loyal customers for many years and ran out of oil for the first time ever. They told me it would be delivered 3 days later but nothing turned up, its always the next day when i phone, i explained i have a baby and i need to know in advance if it isnt coming so i can make plans to stay else where and i never get a phone call. Now im told its next week. Why tell somone 3 days when it clearly wasn't, just be honest. Once I've received my delivery i will go elsewhere next time

We have been a monthly direct debit customer for 7 years, originally with auto top-up via tank scout and never thought to check prices ongoing as we were a committed account holder.After a recent delivery delay we had to go elsewhere and discovered that Watson had been charging 50% more when we didn't ask for a quote. In the past 12 months we have been charged £1,900 MORE than the relevant UK average oil price.Last delivery, we had quotes from other suppliers for 40 pence per litre, with emergency 24 hour delivery from a supplier for 60 pence per litre. Watson on monthly account with top up request (no quote) charged us 67 pence per litre for a delivery that took them 3 weeks and arrived the same day as the above 3rd party quotes.+£500 for that delivery.Another example, we were charged 56 ppl, when our friend a few streets away (also Watson customer) was charged 36 ppl. Both deliveries 48 hours apart. The difference - they asked for a quote before delivery and we stupidly trusted Watsons.6 weeks of complaints and no resolution.UPDATEIt pays to complain to the VP as we finally received a ?goodwill? payment of £1,700 and then promptly went to boiler juice for our oil needs ongoing.Watson also confirmed that this was their pricing strategy - if you don?t ask for a quote they do not try to be competitive and will charge you more and their t&cs support that. You have been warned.

Ordered home heating oil, said it would be up to 10 days, on 11th day, which was a Friday, told it would be beginning of the next week, called the following Wednesday said it would arrive by Friday, nothing on Friday told it would be Monday, didn't arrive, told it would be Tuesday, didn't arrive. After 3 weeks no sign of oil so went somewhere else who delivered same day.

Awful customer service! Took our money weeks before they turned up so we couldn't take our business elsewhere! Promised delivery three days ago and repeated phone calls lead to them saying "next day", to which nothing happens... 2 vulnerable people left without heating.

Horrible customer service!!! I was promised a delivery today, boiler not working due to low pressure. I?m now told they will not come today. This is unacceptable! What an untrustworthy company

Recently new customer, ordered a few deliveries to find out I?ve been charged twice.... I got told I?d been given a refund within ten working days, it?s not my mistake and it?s my money sorry give it straight back!
