Ben and the team have been exceptional with the recent support that I have received when valuing my home. Gracie was absolutely wonderful on the phone and very clear with her instructions when booking my home in for a valuation. We have used Connells recently and they were very efficient at coming to visit us for a valuation, booking in for the photos was a very easy and quick process. They have managed to sell our home STC in less than 2 weeks too! They?ve been very good at communicating with us and answering enquiries. Would definitely use again.

Honestly an amazing experience with Connells Carterton. Out of all of the estate agents I?d registered with they are the only ones that called me for houses within my criteria to go and see. Katie, Steve and Ben are all fantastic, really knowledgeable and helpful. As a first time buyer they have really made the whole experience so much easier. 20/10

From the start and still ongoing , Connell and their staff especially Ben and Alicia been absolutely amazing, we decided to sell our house quite urgently after finding the next house, and from the first day Ben been amazing getting everything ready for us, our house was marketed and sold all in 9 days. Even now while we are in process of sale the team keeps us updated all the time and is always on hand to answer all our questions. Huge thanks to Alicia in the mortgage department for helping us sort out old mortgage and apply for a new one. It?s so nice to have someone explain things to you in simple understandable way which nowadays doesn?t happen often. This is our 8th year arranging our affairs via Connell and wouldn?t go anywhere else.

We approached Connells just a few weeks ago and quickly had a visit from Ben. He has been very professional and walked us through the whole process so far, so we have always felt like we know exactly what is going on.
All of the costs have been clear right from the start, so no nasty surprises!
He arranged viewings really quickly and managed to pair us with potential buyers who match perfectly with the property and due to all this everything is moving along very smoothly (and quickly).
So far I can say we have absolutely no regrets trusting Connells (and, specifically, Ben) with the sale of our home.

I initially contacted Connells to request more information on a property on Brize Meadows in Carterton. Their out of hours office phoned me on a Sunday to book in a viewing of the property and also asked me about my plans on selling my property in Witney. I reluctantly agreed to a valuation on my property and I received an email confirming the valuation of my property, but it had the Carterton postcode of the property I had inquired about! On Monday, I called the Carterton branch to clarify my address for the valuation and whether the viewing had been booked for the Brize Meadows property. I was told that the property I had inquired about had not even been built yet and would not be built until next year. Whilst this is not the branch's fault, it seems silly to have an out of hours office contacting prospective buyers if they do not know basic information on the properties available. I was also told that the property I inquired about is actually managed by the Swindon branch, so again this is not their branches fault. However, fast forward and although I had stated in my initial contact with the Carterton branch that the property I am selling is a Shared Ownership property, they were persistent in booking me in for a valuation. I advised them that under the terms of my agreement with Sage, that I had to have a RICS valuation carried out. I then received a call to say that because it is a Shared Ownership property, they can't do a usual valuation (to which I'm thinking, yes I know that because I told you I have to have a RICS surveyor). At this point, I advised them not to come and do a valuation because it is pointless and that my RICS valuation was booked for the Monday. I told them that I would call them after I had the RICS report, should I wish for them to sell my property. At this stage, I had already decided I did not want to sell through Connells because they hadn't filled me with much confidence and the breakdown in communication between the Carterton/Swindon and out of hours office was very apparent. I then had an email come through to say I had booked a valuation with Connells on the Tuesday, which I hadn't! I was working in the office all week and did not have capacity to phone them, so I emailed the branch and highlighted that it who's attention it was for. My email stated that I did not want a valuation and that I'd chosen another vendor so to remove me from their database. I didn't receive a written response, but a little while later received a cancellation notification of the valuation so someone must have picked it up but didn't even have the courtesy to acknowledge this or reply. I have since received 2 voicemails from Connells Carterton & 1 voicemail from Connells Witney trying to book me in for a valuation. My overall experience has been less than desirable and it's disappointing that there is such a lack of communication between the branches. It's always off-putting when companies are like a dog with a bone, and that is certainly the case with them. I have since chosen a smaller local Estate Agent who have been seemless and have already found me a buyer.
