Fantastic service. I was referred by my GP for the minor eye conditions service, the lady I spoke with on the phone (I think Donna) was really lovely, booked me in really quickly and Adam I saw was great. Really quick, efficient and comfortable service. Would definitely recommend and return!

Probably the best, most professional and honest optician I have ever been to. On a routine appointment Adam diagnosed a minor problem in one of my eyes (most likely genetic) that has been present for years yet never noted by any high street optician. There is a great stock of frames to choose from and plenty of time to think about your purchase. You are a credit to your profession Adam.

My eyes have been becoming increasingly uncomfortable during lock down.By chance I found that Carterton Opticians can still carry out eye examinations.I was given an appointment for the following day.The service was first class and professional.The symptoms described (and listened too), a thorough examination,problem solved.I would absolutely recommend them and have given them five stars!

I decided to use Carterton opticians after always going to spec-savers. I wanted to support local businesses and had heard good things about them. Adam and Donna are very welcoming and take their time to make sure they meet your needs. There?s a good selection of glasses to choose from for every budget, and no pressure to spend loads on high end frames. One thing I wanted to try this time was contact lenses. Unfortunately I don?t seem to get along with them, but Adam explored every avenue to try and get them to work for me. They have a great system in place where you try a set for free, then decide if you want a proper trial set, which then includes showing you how to put them in etc.. Adam was upfront from the start with the contact lenses, and told me that if I get on with them, it would be cheaper for me to order them online at the moment. So no heavy sales pitch to get me to buy their lenses either. Over all an easy and pleasant experience. Highly recommended.
