Came here for some tea and ice cream while going through Burford and I definitely wasn't disappointed. The tea was great, the ice cream was nice and creamy while not being too sweet, and the scones were fresh too! Definitely worth checking out.

Very friendly & helpful staff. We stopped for a drink before undertaking a 6mile hike. The coffee & chai latte were very good. They even made us sandwiches and wrapped them, so we could take them on our hike. The sandwiches were so good we had another coffee upon our return from the hike. Again, great friendly service.

Popped in for lunch after our journey from Kent. I had the full English and it was absolutely delicious! All the food was fresh and tasty, they even gave me two more eggs as apparently they weren?t up to their standard which I didn?t even ask for, but was very pleased to say the least! The hot chocolate was probably one of the best I?ve had so so tasty with the cream and sprinkles on top. Me and my fellow companion moved on very very satisfied as we continued our stroll around the beautiful village.

Booked through Secret Escapes, which was a retirement gift. We were dismayed to find that our room was a long distance from the reception and restaurant and up a staircase. There was no service from reception in carrying our luggage to our room, which although was a good size with a large bed, it unfortunately was very outdated with a dirty looking brown carpet and curtains and beige walls. The coffee making machine was broken and had to be fixed the following day. The shower was good and nice toiletries provided. Food was very nice but no toast at breakfast. Staff all pleasant. Entrance area looked worn, and the mat was very dirty. I felt that this area, in particular, needed some work doing in order to look more welcoming. Especially did not like seeing cleaning equipment all stashed under the staircase. Probably would not visit again as the experience was not particularly special.

Rooms super clean. Lovely towels, bedding pristine. Comfy bed, quiet and excellent nights sleep. Only thing that was not perfect was the wet toom which was hard to keep your feet dry after using!! No big deal though. The breakfast was excellent and great choice. Staff were lovely.

Had a good baked potato with chilli here earlier in the week to takeaway, it was full of flavour.... but it should have been being just shy of £10.
