Beautiful pub with gorgeous rooms. Stayed one night, walked across the fields and back for dinner. It was very quiet at first, but became busier which helped with the atmosphere. We both enjoyed a 3 course meal opting for the lamb main which was cooked very well. The room was compact but beautiful and the bed was huge! The bedding all very high quality and the outlook was stunning into a beautiful tree. The pub has a really pretty garden with lots of parking. The breakfast was one of the best I?ve ever had. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Will absolutely return one day.

Cute, quaint, quiet country pub. We stayed in the garden room, it was small but that didn?t bother us. It had a massive big bath tub and the most luxurious shampoos and body lotions- lovely touch. All the staff went above and beyond, super friendly and accommodating. It was the perfect stop. We had the pizza and local beer that night. I loved this place !

We booked and stayed last week en route to Devon & Cornwall and loved it so much we booked for a night on our return. This is a beautiful place and super relaxing. The staff are wonderful, the food is excellent. The rooms are luxurious and comfortable. The venue has been incredibly well thought out. The outdoor areas are perfect for sitting out and dining on a good day. Good off road parking and immaculately clean toilets. Definitely one to visit when you are in the Cotswolds.

Cancelled our booking after we had booked 3 months ago. Just had an email from booking dot com. Said they had double booked. Avoid if you want to stay somewhere following booking. No doubt got a better offer but I kind of work on the understanding that if I book something it?s booked. AVOID

The lovely staff kindly let us take our horses into the garden so we could have there amazing pizzas from the stone baked pizza waggon. Absolutely stunning place and can?t recommend enough. Maybe you fancy stopping by for a drink and pizza on horseback too

Now part of the Bamford empire, but still unchanged. The cooking is really excellent and the garden delightful. A perfect place for an indulgent lunch in the Cotswolds.

We just came for a very light lunch. Although we only had nibbles and starters, the food was absolutely excellent and the service was first class. We could not fault The Maytime and we will certainly be back for a full meal.

Went for lunch. Lovely roast beef sandwich with side salard. The garden is really beautiful with views across to the hills. The garden is full of lavender and roses and is really fragrant. The building is very cold nut decorated in a fitting but contemporary way.

I had previously visited the Maytime Inn and gave it a good review. To celebrate a birthday with friends, we returned only to be disappointed. It was a beautiful sunny day and with no-one in the restaurant, we chose to sit outside. Firstly, the delightful set menu that we experienced previously had gone and replaced with a few 'specials'. Everything had to be ordered at the bar: drinks, food, coffee - where had the service gone! The food was ok but brought, or should I say delivered, in an amateurish and unprofessional way. The staff were pleasant but no cohesion. When the bill was presented and paid, an unwarranted service charge was included! Come on Lady B, this just isn't good enough for part of the Daylesford empire.

This was a wonderful stay close to Oxford. The inn itself is lovely, and our room immaculate and restful. Rustic decor combined with a modern bathroom made for a delightful stay. We celebrated our anniversary while there, and the chef put together a plate of chocolates and strawberries with "Happy Anniversary" written in chocolate icing: a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was superb, and as we left too early for breakfast on the final day, the staff had put together take-away breakfasts for us and left them at our door. If you're not used to driving the Cotswolds, do be aware that you have to approach the Inn along a country lane wide enough for just one car. If you have a car coming from the other direction, one of you will have to pull to the side (there are plenty of turn-outs along the lane) to let the other go by. Very normal in England and Ireland, and everyone is really good about it, so don't be intimidated, and don't miss out on this lovely inn.

Absolutely stunning pub, restaurant and rooms.Staff are fantastic, very welcoming and made sure our stay was perfect in every way.Breakfast was superb with so many freshly cooked options available as well as a continental on the table.If you are looking for a place to stay, breakfast, lunch or dinner or just a few drinks I can't recommend The Maytime Inn highly enough.

I am a real lover of a great Sunday lunch and frequent many places that are excellent. This was quite simply the best roast (sirloin of) beef I have ever had. The gravy too was so rich and amazing. Roasties, Yorkshire and veg were all perfect. I will wait a long time to get beef like this again.
