Food, drink and service were all excellent. Nice to see a small, fresh menu on offer and have it executed perfectly. Will be back. Recommend a reservation as it?s very busy.

Bar very full, que nearly out the door. Hard to determine where we needed to go for our booking due to the volume of people. This needs moving to the entrance door. Bar seating unavailable whilst we waited for our table, as it was in use beyond the 60 mins allocation. So had to hang around in the way. Expected a pager to call us forward when our table was available not told to wait 10 mins and rejoin the line. Think signage needs to put up when fully booked, so random people don't block up the limited space in the pub. Shame when eating downstairs people walk through to terrace or sit on empty tables and doesn't make for a pleasant atmosphere when told they haven't booked and need to leave.

We have been here many times and each time we are looked after very well, food is good and Hawkstone beer / cider is even better!

We visited this bank holiday. It was very busy but we easily found a space outside to sit and have drinks until it was time for our reservation. The staff were all really lovely and super chatty. The food was amazing and served very quickly. Couldn?t fault a thing. The view out the back was beautiful. Thanks for a great meal!

I booked Sunday lunch just over a month in advance, but a couple of days before we were due to go, I realised I hadn?t received a confirmation. I emailed the restaurant and, as it turns out (probably my fault!), the reservation hadn?t gone through. Thankfully, Gemma from the reservations team was super helpful and managed to squeeze us in!
When we arrived, we were seated straight away. All the staff were really friendly and efficient. We both had the roast beef, which was honestly the best we?ve had in a long time. The desserts were just as delicious.
From start to finish, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience?beautiful interior and lovely views from the garden too. Definitely worth the visit in our opinion. I?d recommend booking in advance just to be safe!

Travelling with some business colleagues from overseas and surprised them with the Farmers Dog, they are fans of the show and they loved it. Oh did I forget to mention ....... we build the Lamborghini tractors that Jeremy loves so much.

I came as a surprise Birthday lunch on Thursday 22nd May
I like it's all British ingredients
The food was absolutely delicious
Although slightly expensive I do feel it was certainly well worth the price
Table was booked month in advance and very lucky to have got it for MY day

An enjoyable few hours , many thanks . Friendly & professional house management , cleverly constructed menu to cope with the volume of covers , very pleasant waiting staff and good , honest food presented within minutes . Despite a time constraint on reservation there was absolutely no pressure to vacate our table which allowed time to chat away with our friends from t?North . But how I?d wish for the ?scrum? at the bar to return to get the bar staffs? attention rather than an orderly & sullen queue , but that?s the way these days ! Once again thanks so much !

If, like me, you love Top Gear, Grand Tour, and Clarkson's Farm, then when visiting the Cotswolds, you have to pop in to see what all the fuss is about. The Farmer?s Dog is a lovely old Cotswold building that's been renovated tastefully, with lovely views over the Cotswold countryside, a great outside decking area, and a very large grass area with the Grand Tour tent selling all manner of things Diddly Squat. It's well worth a visit.

Venue and staff were lovely. We parked in the £2 field across the road and there was no queue at all.
Welcomed in by staff and taken straight to our table.
Food was fantastic. Really traditional, but with special bits applied.
Drink choice was quite limited overall. For beers, you're sorted. But there are no real mixers for the drinks. For a mixer, you have tonic or soda water. No cola or lemonade. You can definitely get British made of both.
For two people, 3 courses (we shared a dessert), couple of drinks each, the bill came to £122, including tip.
