We met up with some friends in this delightful pub for a Sunday Christmas lunch. The food was exceptional, there was plenty of it, it was hot and well presented. We all had a three course Christmas dinner, and we could not fault it at all. The pub is very cosy and the stuff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend but booking is advisable.

Atmosphere seems wonderful. Second time last night going there after We were at a few other pubs( one being masons arms oxford which I love ?? )I did chuckle when i was told by a server she couldn?t understand my souther intario canadian accent when I asked for a coffee as first time ever in all my years travelling in the uk being told my canadian accent is hard to understand ? and I?m listening to mainstream music wondering if she can understand the music playing in the pub? but anyways the atmosphere is quite nice.

Nice beer garden, not too busy. Cosy interior, tv's showing sports when we visited. Beer seemed cheaper than elsewhere. Sizable car park. Friendly staff.

Excellent country pub , we only went in for a drink, it was that good , I had to have another.
