Such a great pub. The most smiley, wonderful staff. I was served by Lara who was so sweet and nothing was a problem! My food was great, sticky toffee pudding was INCREDIBLE! Atmosphere was lovely. Would definitely return! 10/10

Lovely olde worlde B&B. Only stayed one night so no evening meal. Lovely breakfast we'll made with good ingredients and presentation and good friendly staff. Recommended for a quiet stay.

Came in this evening very last minute to have an early evening dinner with my wife, our toddler and newborn in the garden. The young staff were very friendly and attentive We really enjoyed the food. Only downside was the Eaton Mess needed a bit more fruit and less sugar/compote. Small grievance, On the whole a brilliant place to enjoy a bite to eat on a summers evening and we were made to feel welcome from the off.

Since new management took over the pub has got better and better. Foods great , service is too . Doing plenty of events both for locals and that I imagine visitors enjoy. If your in the area I really recommend dropping in .

Just had the most amazing lunch here on a beautiful day, we had the ultimate ploughman's lunch, wow absolutely amazing, plenty for 2 or even 3 to share. Great service from Tom. See you again soon.

This was the second time here and it was delightful as the first. A really cosy place to stay with delicious food. Bianca and the team in the kitchen were brilliant, and, despite being short staffed, made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much for her to do. Many thanks Bianca.

My son and I went as I'd received a new hire car after an accident on the IOW!
Never even knew this pub was here, as it's deep in the village
A really nice place, lovely restaurant, nice menu and a lovely garden, and dog friendly !The host was incredibly helpful!

A fantastic night in room one. Started with a good chat at the bar with locals followed by one of the best rooms we've had in the uk. Dinner was good too and breakfast was amazing. Very comfy bed, superb shower and bath. Nothing to fault at all.
Rooms: Simply the best if you opt for room 1
Food and drinks: Brilliant breakfast and dinner menus. Great wine list. Very good beer too
Noteworthy details: Great location

Booked The George Inn for a surprise night away to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary and made them aware of the occasion. The room was disgusting given that the toilet was in the bedroom with only a screen to provide any form of privacy. The food was average once I had received a steak knife which had to be requested. This place is hugely overpriced at £250 for the night. I am beyond upset that our special weekend was ruined.
Rooms: AVOID ROOM 2 at all costs.

Such a beautiful little pub nestled in the Cotswold countryside. A truly stunning place. Atmosphere was quaint and relaxed, service was 5/5, and the food was to die for.
Came here for a lovely meal and a drink. Ordered a starter and a main for myself, as we all shared a delicious sourdough bread with hummus that we all really enjoyed, and for my main, i ordered the Vegetable Feast, or at least i think it was called that, and that was scrumptious.
Service, as well, was impeccable! Couldn?t do enough for you.
5/5 from me.
Food and drinks: Their own lager was really good, too.

Having previously enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch here it was time to try the evening menu with much anticipation.
The pub is a lovely setting and super cosy.
I ordered the steak as a treat as it was my birthday. The sirloin arrived and seemed to be cooked well however the quality was not great and was chewy. The 10oz sirloin including a red wine jus was £38 and for the price was very disappointing. The ?triple cooked chips? seemed like regular pub chips and certainly not triple cooked.
Raising this at the time felt pointless as the steak was edible and so were the chips. Just not representative of the price.
My partner is vegan and the only options were two starters of hummus (purely for the protein) and sourdough and the gazpacho. We were asked to preorder as we were a large group. Neither dishes were hot so felt underwhelming. This was in comparison to a lovely vegan Thai curry available when we visited for Sunday lunch.
My friends fish and chips was disappointing with the fish being served in soggy batter.
In all, a very expensive meal that was not worth the price.
It was very difficult to feel like raising this at the time due to it being a special occasion and not wanting to bring down the mood and I personally felt the senior staff unapproachable.

Lovely pub and really good food. There was only one waitress serving a busy evening and she was obviously stressed. But all round a great evening.
