I truly cannot believe the way I was spoken to by the staff here. What?s even more frustrating is the way my husband was treated.
He was yelled at by one of the staff members whose name I didn?t catch about reaching up to a higher shelf ( of which he didn?t have to jump or climb up to like they tried to accuse him of doing) when a white man who was doing the same thing was not spoken to at all.
We then asked for a store manager and were just simply questioning why she thinks it?s acceptable for staff to speak to paying customers like that.
Between all 6 of us who were in different areas of the store, we (and 2 strangers we spoke to outside ) all completely agreed that it seems racially motivated. And the way my husband was painted out by the staff member to the store manager was appalling when we were ?told off? by the store manager.
I would not be surprised if this isn?t the first time something like this has happened there before.
The only person who treated us like human beings was the person (of which I don?t know their pronouns) on the till. So thank you to them for fractionally redeeming our experience and may be the only reason I haven?t gone to Trading standards UK about this experience.
Moral of the story, avoid at all costs.

Has a decent range of products on offer. Prices are alright relative to alternatives. Staff do make you feel like a bit of a tool if you have any questions though. Customer service quality lets it down and is the reason I'd consider going elsewhere if I thought I might need assistance.

Came here today looking for a plunger, couldn't find one. So asked the lady at the till for help. She said it was in the plumbing Isle. I politely stated that I had just looked there and I couldn't see one. Silence..no offer of help or anything! Very unhelpful and rude.

Good car parking. Clean and tidy. Well stocked.
But they can be very slow at the check out even at off peak times.

Shop floor staff was lovely each time, till staff omg? I though the most miserable people work at Asda? after few last visits at wickes I stand corrected.
