We stopped for dinner on our way past. Food was delicious. Staff were so friendly. Man behind bar who took our food order was so nice. Very pleasant dinner sitting outdoors in the late evening sunshine. Highly recommend

Popped in on the off chance for lunch on Father's Day. Staff were very accommodating and friendly, the food was lovely - my Dad especially enjoyed the Sea Bass, and the Tiramisu was absolutely fantastic! Would recommend to anyone in the area and looking forward to visiting again soon ?

Souldern is a beautiful quiet north Oxfordshire village. The Fox sits just off the Main Street. Very small bar/restaurant. Very friendly staff. Swift service. Typical Sunday lunch menu with a few specials on the board. Mrs went for the roast pork (a little bland), I had the gammon, egg and chips (very good). Nice wines. Nice selection of classic pub puds. Coffees and warm brownie. Very good. Decent value for £60.

A true gem!
We called in for dinner. The Fox Inn is a lovely traditional setting
The food was excellent, as was the friendly service.
We come to this part of the county several times a year and will look to stay in their rooms as well as dining here on our next visit
Highly recommended!

Superb food in a very traditional pub, lots of locals so can get quite noisy as after work drinkers stop for a quick one or two. Quietens down as the serious foodies tuck in to a freshly cooked meal from a varied menu. We are not locals so as we were staying nearby we went twice in the same week. Highly recommend but make sure you book as it is a small venue. We will be going again just wish it was nearer. RAY
