A return visit. Bought boots from Colin last year which were spot on. Came back to upgrade to Zipfit liners this time with Luke. Great service, it's just so obvious these guys know their stuff and can provide first class custom fitting. Highest possible recommendation.

These guys really know what they are talking about, Luke was fantastic, first fitting wasn't successful due to the boot my feet needed, however, Luke knew the boot that was needed once that was in fitting was rebooked and came away very happy with boots that feel amazing, now to check them out on the snow ??

Went to Colin, all the way from Manchester, upon a strong recommendation, a couple of years ago with my brother. Both got super high arched feet and had historic problems with ski boots. Both ski at a very high level. After a couple of seasons with the boots, i cant recommend these guys highly enough! Super knowledgeable, As colin told us we dont pick the boots, the boots pick us- it has never been more true. Thanks guys!

Spoken to Luke on the phone about the pain that I suffer in my feet whilst snow boarding. I have visited multiple shops in the past, including the likes of Prosneige who are very reputable in the industry and they weren't as thorough as Luke was whilst discussing the problems and potential solutions.
Luke took quite a bit of time to talk to me to fully understand the problems that I am having, despite me not currently being a paying customer. 5* - Will come in to store soon to try some of the suggestions.

Colin is the best. I feared that I?ve ruined my lovely custom-made boots on our last ski holiday, but Colin managed to get them sorted! I got them with Colin years ago, and hope that they?ll last me many more years of fun on the slopes - thank you again! ?

Really grateful to Colin and the team for their advice and support. After having issues with numbness and cramping in one foot for 15 years, I decided to see an expert - Colin was an absolute gent, flagged that there was an anatomical issue which he explained in detail, that made a custom boot necessary - refused to charge me for his time and referred me to a custom boot builder - who then saw me the same day in a nearby town. Very grateful for Colin's experience and professionalism. Even for a recreational skier, I would thoroughly recommend visiting the team - other ski shops will rarely have the experience to detect issues, pair an optimal solution and then fit you to the millimetre.

Salomon S/Pro Alpha. At first I was a little wary as they were almost too comfortable. Having skied on and off piste in all conditions , four weeks into the season with my new boots I am very pleased . Great fitting, great service.

Initially reluctant to buy new boots and liners in the U.K. because of the likely need to tweak and adjust to get comfortable which previously I?ve always done in resort. I was recommended Solutions for Feet by a friend and most grateful.
I don?t normally write reviews but this is the exception. The zip fit liners and new boots fitted by Colin in autumn 2024 are a total game changer. I?ve now been skiing in them for the past couple of weeks and in 35 years of skiing I?ve never had such a good and comfortable fit.
First class service, Colin tells you how it is and his knowledge is remarkable. Wouldn?t hesitate to recommend

Brought boots with custom fittings a while back and had pain ever since. Tried to call to get advice twice and they were arrogant and condescending. Finally got the boots sorted out in resort. Would highly recommend staying away as whilst one might not get a fitting right first time the attitude and handling of a poor fitting was absolutely awful.

I made an enquiry, the answer to which came across as patronising, arrogant and presumptive; as a former boot fitter, I feel these are not good qualities in a boot fitter.
Had this been a face to face experience, the score would be zero.

I went to see Colin last week. Having struggled on a couple of trips away with new boots purchased, with bad advice from a different boot shop, that never fitted my needs. I went hoping to get them adjusted, but worse case scenario buying new boots, if this was his recommendation.
He gave me a thorough assessment and sound advice. Unfortunately he said there was no boot on the market that would suit my wide feet, high instep, foot arch, low flexibility and large calves.
Having asked where do I go from here, he suggested custom boots. He then contacted Richard at Dale boots UK, and arranged for me to go straight round to get custom boots.
He refused to sell me unsuitable boots or take any payment for the time he?d put aside for my appointment. He clearly cares that his customers get the right equipment. Thank you.
