Visited here as we was shopping in bicester. We was fasting so we broke our fast here. The staff gave us the the traditional food we eat to break our fast for free which was very nice of them.
Unfortunately the main food we ordered was very bland. Garlic chilli chicken wasn't even chilli and had way too much tasteless garlic in it.
The service was better than the food. Would highly advise for a baby changing unit as I had to change my sons nappy on the floor.
But like I said the service was very good and nice atmosphere too. Just a shame about the food.

Had the lamb biriani with veg curry. It was luke warm and a bit bland.
Plenty of staff around but a bit slow. Had to ask twice for the bill, then twice again for the card machine.

We were the only five in there but they couldn't wait to get rid of us. The waiter said they closed at 2.00pm. I have been many times previously and had been treated very differently. Shakils actually close at 2.30pm and not 2.00 pm as stated. Will not be returning.

Ordered a takeaway for two people. Food was okay but expensive in my opinion for what was dished up. I was asked if I wanted a drink while I waited only to be charged £3.95 for a glass of lemonade. I have found it better value in the past if eating in instead of takeaway.

The food was good, the service was okay. We ordered garlic naan and garlic chicken. It was close to authentic taste.

Happened to be looking out for Friday evening check in without reservation. Thanks to the courteous hosts, they could find a table for 4. Very very busy place. Typical weekend diner. Service is spot on. Food was served hot and within 10 to 15 mins of order. That what you want. And no compromise in flavor and taste. Adequately staffed and they all have roles assigned. Cocktails were good too. Definitely worth visiting to have tasty South East Asian food or more likely Indian Subcontinent.

I entered this restaurant with high hopes. Nicely decorated and very inviting. Sadly, that was the only good part. The food came far to quickly for my liking. It wasn't very good, and well overpriced. The staff were obviously not very busy, as they kept coming over and asking if everything was ok. They added 10% service charge to the bill, which I am never happy about. We won't be going there again in a hurry.

Alot of improvement needed. Quality of food and meat is not good at all. Meat especially lamb seems to be of very poor quality. Part of order was missed. Order was placed over phone and picked up.

We had a really poor experience with Shakils tonight - delivery time fine, but the food was appalling. Incredibly dry salmon tikka, barely able to be called tikka. 2x Bhuna which tasted as if a tin of chopped tomatoes had been put in a pan with one piece of pepper, a tiny bit of onion and some garlic powder and then called a curry. Tasteless, bland and a waste of £45. We now wish we had cooked. AVOID
