no self service checkouts and always minimal tills opened. if your only going for a few bits be prepared to wait. would recommend aldi down the road as a better alternative for a quick shop

Don't even deserve one star tbh they deserve zero! It's been years since I've come back to lidl as my first experience coming here wasn't great. Staff were rude and unhelpful. I bought a ready meal and when I cooked it, it literally smelt like vomit. It was vile. Ended up returning for refund. Since then I hadn't been back..until this evening and honestly wish I hadn't! Most of the shelves were empty for a start so I couldn't even get half the staff I wanted/needed. Choices were very very limiting. Freezers were practically empty. I tried to get what I needed. When I went to the till a person behind me started loading there shopping whilst I was still loading mine which I thought was extremely rude! I got served and the guy on the till did not communicate with me at all! Got back home to find the fish was slightly open and had leaked all over my food shop! I was absolutely livid. Returned to the same guy who served me..He then stupidly served the people behind me scanning their items! I said that wasnt my stuff! He said he couldn't void it so they had to go in front.
No please or thank you from him and the customer! After waiting to be served I explained that I wanted to return my stuff due to the fish leaking all over my shop. The guy serving me said 'I'm not touching any of that 'and I said well it came from your shop so your going to have to. He said im not touching it. He then called his manager and started arguing with his own manager as they refused to come deal with a customer complaint! Eventually someone came I explained and she said to the guy you have to scan each time he said Im not touching it I refuse. The manager rolled her eyes at me and then dealt with it. Not a single apology from either of them!
Absolutely disgusted by the shop, customers,management! Disgrace. This place needs shutting down and replaced by a better food chain with better staff!

Always awful queue?s. Staff either not intelligent enough to see long queues or being told to keep people waiting to keep staff costs down. Not a nice place to shop!!

Lidl just as any other Lidl, with exception there are no self checkouts, so queues sometimes bother. Large car park and easy to get to. Good stuff.

Hello, last Saturday I was visiting Lidl at the Bicester. I have been so positive surprised. They have a lot of vegetables, all fresh. Fruits, salads, ingredients. All of them fresh and healthy. No mess in shop floor. Full five stars.

Stock levels are often poor. Dates are usually very short.
Well done if you find a full bakery section.
I have lost many freebies due to no stock.
Just needs decent stock rotation and better pricing tickets
