Nice setting with tasteful decor. Will be returning to try one of their aged tomahawk steaks, which are in view and look very tasty.

Atmospheric small rooms (ceiling touching). A deposit of 50 euros will be requested upon arrival. Everything is there. A minibar with various drinks (no beer). A pub is run downstairs. It is cozy here and you can sit down for a snack and a drink.

Food is excellent, I was also told the Sunday lunch is well worth the visit. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Didn't stay here, just stopped for lunch. I would go back again.

Had to wait for over one hour for food to turn up. Roast beef , fatty not cooked, roast potatoes could have bounced off the floor.complained, did get fresh roast pots. Child's meal was cold

We booked 2 rooms and stayed for 1 night. We wouldn?t recommend staying here. Didn?t have soap, shower gel, handwash or regular coffee sachets provided when we arrived so asked and were told they weren?t available (handwash eventually provided at 10pm). The miniature toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion) had been used before and were half full. We stayed on a Tuesday so there was no food available in the pub and breakfast was a sub-standard breakfast box. When booking, there was nothing to say that there wasn?t food available and breakfast was a supermarket-style plastic wrapped croissant, yoghurt and fruit to be eaten in the room. One room had breakfast boxes left from previous guests so had to ask for fresh boxes, the second room had no breakfast box so we had to ask for one. Wi-Fi didn?t work throughout our stay. Central heating not on and electric oil radiator button symbols had worn off so had to google to find the instruction manual to get it to work as there were 6 buttons! Tried to contact general manager to discuss but they aren?t responding so they clearly don?t want to apologise, or admit there are issues with their service.

Stayed for the first time and it is everything we could have asked for if not more. Staff were so friendly and so helpful, proper family feel. Perfect location to Bicester town and 15 min walk to Bicester village! Even stocked a fridge in the room with water / fresh orange juice, also catering for milk allergies by having soya and oat milk.
Lovely pub full of character , old fashioned but modern twist especially in thw rooms also :) We look forward to staying again very soon ?

Fantastic pub in Bicester, I come here regularly, and the food as service is always top notch. It's got the feel of a traditional pub (which is very hard to find in this day and age) with an extra edge. They have a huge selection of beers, wine and tasty cocktails - I would recommend the espresso martini. We threw my Mum's birthday party here and the team went above and beyond to make everything perfect. They now do regular hog roasts and live music days which is always a blast. Conveniently located on the outskirts of town and there is parking.
