Meh. This used to be a decent chippy but the last couple of times I?ve been in, the chips have been so soft and soggy they literally fall apart and resemble anaemic boiled/mashed potato?s. The cod was extremely oily, was a tiny piece of cod and was about 80% batter. Hardly any salt and vinegar and very tasteless and bland. Not worth the money charged so won?t be eating there again unfortunately.

Travelling through Bicester and decided to pick up some fish & chips. Checked out the reviews and thought I'd give this fish bar a chance. I ordered cod, chips, and a large sausage in batter. Just short of £16, the most I've paid for this in any fish bar. Was it worth it? Absolutely not.
The chips were dry and tasteless, and the cod was no better. The sausage in batter had a strange taste. None of the food was great and certainly not worth the cost.

The staff are very friendly and the food is very good, only one thing , the batter is a bit thick and crispy.
It never was the last time we lived here, but we moved away 4 years ago, returned last year and couldn?t wait to go back and buy our favourite fish and chips. Would be great if the there was less batter on the fish please.
Otherwise, amazing.

Best fish and chip shop in Oxfordshire,
Absolutely lovely food you can get enough of. Kebabs are to die for and fresh salad everyday, clean and tidy place and an amazing atmosphere, it?s nice to talk to the staff and very polite. Keep up the good work,,

Really impressed with their chicken donner and chips meal. For £6 you get a massive portion! Chicken tasted lovely with some added spices, garlic sauce was good too. Can't fault it!

Food is good but despite having lots of customers they never have the food ready. You can sit for up to 15 minutes waiting for them to fill your order? Unfortunately I should be moving my business elsewhere

Hours have changed, got caught out a little with that but waited till 4.30pm till they reopened and got fresh fresh fresh chips and battered sausage! As Chippy?s go, this is the best in Bicester!

I ordered online for my kid's, I was so surprised to see gluten free options (I'm celiac) the food was delicious I ordered GF mini cod and chips for myself and had no reaction, this shows care is taken when preparing for dietary requirements as my food was perfect. My girls had the kid's fish meal and ate every bit. Great value for money.
I highly recommend thus chip shop and will now only treat my family to a fish dinner from here (and I can join them)
