Tried to contact Argos in Bicester to find out if it's possible to collect a heavy item from Argos and where to collect such an item and I was led in circles by their ai system which finally told me to go online......where there is no answer to that question. Guess I'll be buying from Currys.

It was good but if you're an old person there's nowhere to sit near Argos you've got to go along to the cafe to sit so wouldn't it be nice if there was some kind of chairs for old people to sit near Argos

Avoid.
Brought a phone for my son for Christmas when opened on Christmas day they phone was actually damaged, took it back to argos the next day where they was very rude.
They clearly are not customer focused.

Easy to get to and using the browsers is straight forward, if you have any problems or cannot find what you are looking for the staff are very friendly and helpful when you need it, you can pick up items straight away are reserve to pick up later, it is a great way to shop and very competitive prices.

Lady served me today and she was extremely rude! Went to her till and I said I had an order to collect please and she said code.. read out a few numbers at a time and I looked at her to make sure she got it right and she just snapped at me and said yes..so carried on . Her mannerism was disgusting.

I've picked items up at this location several times and have never had any problems. Seems like people only post when they have a bad experience so I thought I'd level the playing field a bit. Staff have always been friendly, I've never had to wait and I have always walked out with what I went in for. Can't ask for more than that really. As for Argos themselves, why they can't have items sent between stores is beyond me. For example, you want 3 of something but they only have two in one particular location and another in a different shop some miles away, why can't they send the odd one to the shop you want in order to fulfill the order?

We recently purchased a Vileda Mixer 3 Tower Airer from our local Argos store (Bicester). We ordered it on a Friday afternoon and it was delivered to our home on Saturday morning. Why am I writing this, b/c we purchased two exactly the same Airers from Robert Dyas (online) and on both separate occasions, the Airer was delivered damaged!! In the future, we will now be using Argos store (Bicester) - and I'd recommend anyone thinking of ordering items, use Argos, very reliable and efficient delivery service!!

Had a horrible experience. Went to return a product (Xbox controller) that I had purchased from bicester Argos. I had rang customer service helpline just to make sure that the product was returnable. The gentleman on the phone was very helpful, got my order reference from him and was told to just go in and swap the item. When I went to Bicester Argos I was served and explained the situation to the lady who served me. She came back and told me I would have to get a reference from a second hand party ( Microsoft) of the item. I was never told by the customer service helpline , no where on argos returns policy does it say I have to call the second hand party. When I tried to call the second hand party it went straight to an automated response. I had explained this to the lady (Emma) and she rudely called me a liar and said that I would have to do it again and there was nothing she could do and walked off. I decided to call Argos helpline again and was told that I needed a reference . I was spoken down to and rudely spoken to. In the end I decided to call Microsoft to which they told me that I didn?t need a reference and that they should have been able to just swap it . I went to the kidlington Argos to which they were extremely helpful and patient with me. The lady told us that they were given a call by Bicester to be warned by me. They were absolute amazing in kidlington and they had told me they didn?t need a reference number and that the Bicester Argos could have phoned them on my behalf. But amazing thumbs up to kidlington , brilliant staff and will defiantly be going there in future instead of Bicester.

You don't see many Argos store's these days, and those you do are minuscule like this one, nevertheless, service was satisfactory!
