Here we are at 5.18am in the beer garden as the fire alarm has been sounding for 30 minutes.
No staff around and it is clearly not a fire.

My other half and I had a lovely meal this evening at The Crown Inn Benson. I had the sirloin steak which was cooked perfectly and my partner had the Prawn Linguini and he absolutely loved it! The staff are very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is so relaxed. The pub is also very clean and inviting which is lovely outdoor area. Highly recommend!!

A gem of a local! Visited with family for a Sunday roast - food was exceptional and the service was very friendly. Great outdoor space too.

On holiday the food was out of this world we had mussels burger fish and chips but omg try the pie seriously best pie on the planet. Also what wonderful young and talented staff and a brilliant front of house the man in the shirt ??

Great find, good food and drink selection, traditional pub setting and fairly priced. Staff went above and beyond, possible owner went out of his way to make my son feel welcome and was a great kids fish and chips portion with included choc brownie and ice cream for £9. Great value. The rest of the staff and waitresses were equally as welcoming and our waitress was fantastic with all of us. Very friendly, welcoming place with worthwhile food. Will definitely be visiting again soon for food or just a drink. Highly recommend.

Great overnight stay while walking the Thames Valley Path. Very friendly and welcoming landlord and staff. Really comfortable room and great food.

Great Sunday lunch. Good portion size. Plenty of veg, which I love. The only negative for me was the gravy, I believe there was quite a lot of pepper in there and that is not to my taste. The staff were lovely and very friendly landlord. Bonus today, live music as there was a party in the courtyard. Will definitely be back

The Crown in Benson has changed hands a few times over recent years with little success, HOWEVER the new landlord has really kicked it into touch and the food and service here are excellent. Its great to see this beautiful pub back at the forefront of the community. Well done John and the team
