Love this cafe. Perfect place to start your day. Unfortunately no hot food due to technical issues but still nice coffee and croissants as an alternative :) fully recommend. Family friendly, amazing stuff and service.

Having been a loyal Waitrose customer for years, I am really disappointed that the store has gone downhill in the past 2 years in terms of reliability and quality. The fruit and veg has a poor shelf-life, that's when the shelves aren't bare. The cafe is the biggest disappointment. We went there today to be told that they weren't doing what we wanted (club sandwich). The menu screen wasn't working and they didn't have an alternative paper copy of the menu to choose from. We ordered something, then someone came over to tell us they weren't actually doing it. The worst thing is - no one seems to care, say sorry or try to help. They just blame 'management'.

Absolute shambles of a store. I had my hands full of goods about to pay then asked are there any disposable cups for the coffee machines. I got aswered with (you have to take your own) what so you expect someone to pay over £10.00 for 1 coffee in a cup for £8.00 no thanks. I almost feel like taking a costa regular (like you said you have to take your own) order a large in a costa regular burn myself and blame and claim. Bet you never thought of that happening. After this experiance i vow as long as i live i will never be spending a penny in your stores. Also the whole claim idea will be the only reason i revisit one. I will also be sure to tell as much people about this as i can to make sure nobody i know uses your shiii hile stores

Supermarket nice but the service today in the Cafe was shocking. Slow, gruff rude staff - mainly laughing to themselves and chatting rather than serving - then gruff when they did eventually get round to acknowledging me. Disappointing.

Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for in terms of quality. Pleasant to shop in & have a coffee or bite to eat in the cafe. ?

Coffee and cakes are fantastic, cooked food is nothing special but comes quick.Staff are friendly, the cafe is normally pretty quiet in the mornings making it a great place to get work done.

They are having a few supply chain issues and have fewer frozen items available. I am a regular customer but last few visits I noticed few customer service issues.

On the menu it offered, full English breakfast, under this was , vegetarian breakfast, which i ordered. Eventualy it was ready, i expected veggy version of English listed above it. Half an avocado, 1 egg on wilted spinache and haloumi cheese with sweet chili sauce, yuk!!!! got 2 toast orders instead of one, never again will i eat in there.

I went there for brunch at the cafe. I had chicken ciabatta, elz had the BLT sandwich. We were both impressed. If possible, can you add the waitrose cafe to deliveroo deliveries. I know you deliver from the normal supermarket already with them, but I would definitely order chicken ciabatta from you regularly. That was really good

I have been disappointed with this cafe before but as it is Waitrose, you live in hope that they will get their act together. In spite of the lunch hour it was almost empty. A cold blast went through the cafe every time the door opened. Soul less and lacking in atmosphere. That?s the good bit of the feedback. My husband wanted lunch. ?You know what I like?. Cod and chips? ?Sorry? Burger? ?Sorry? . Half the menu was not available. In desperation I went for ?chunky? fish finger ?sandwich?. Now, I am a simple soul. To me, chunky fish fingers are thicker than usual, and sandwich means between two slices of bread. What appeared were 3 very ordinary fish fingers, lost in a large crusty roll, such that elderly gnashers struggled to have an impact. Both of us gave up at the end, ate the fish fingers and abandoned the roll. We left hungry and angry. Waitrose! You value your reputation but really! Our whole experience today was seriously underwhelming

Decided to have a breakfast in Banbury Waitrose.Appalling!!!They advertise the Vegan sign on menus but do not have any food options.. only drinks.After speaking to staff we opted to substitute some items to make a breakfast.When it arrived it was two uncooked flat mushrooms and two uncooked tomatoes a slice of toast with butter on the side and a very hard half of an avocado.Completely inedible!!!Spoke to customer service who were fantastic! Given a £10 gift card.Will not be eating in cafe again.

I was due to pick up my online shop purchase from the local store.Unfortunately due to my injured foot I could not go myself, so I rang them and explained that it would be my partner who will be picking up the goods.My partner went in today and by coincidence it was the same lady, Vickie, who I spoke to on the phone. When she brought my order out from the back she asked my partner if they could give me some flowers.And so he came home with some lovely orchids.Thank you so much for this LOVELY act of kindness ?I have no words to describe how that make me feel?Kind regards ,AK

Really lovely experience. My kids both wanted to pay for their items themselves. The guy at the counter was so patient with them and made it a lovely experience for them.
